I was .... and still am.... the realism is seriously flawed.

For all noobs like me: Tap Pouncing is the key to success for Omniraptors and Troodons. Pounce, and release after no more than 3 seconds. Any longer than that your damage drops off precipitously and it’s not worth the stamina cost. Better to do multiple short pounces. For Troodons, Venom itself does no damage it only makes your prey more vulnerable to damage from your attacks and bites do more damage than more pounces after the target is fully envenomated. Choose camo colors if you want to survive as a baby carnivore, specifically grey tones with the brightness turned down will help you blend with the grass and be nearly invisible to other players night vision.

You sure about that troodon venom? Because most people say that it also applays a DoT and only the last stage amplifies the troodons regular pounce damage.

venom stack faster if you just release as soon as you land on your prey, you don't need to ''stay'' on it. The faster you get off, the better, since you preserve stamina too. You're welcome lol

@@Moose0fNorway I’ll let you know tomorrow, once I get back into the game. My best overall is actually Cerato. My skin is a solid light brown, with no spots or stripes, from baby to adulthood at night I’m extremely hard to see. But I have good ones for troodon and raptor and stego too. I’ll copy the codes and post them here tomorrow.

The cinematography at the start of this video is beautiful. Really hope people start making full documentaries in this way.

Man, i don't know what to say.. this video was more entertaining than a movie and made my head be at peace for 40 minutes straight. Amazing how much effort and love went into this video especially with the background music. Altough this playtrough was interesting, at full adult deino there is one challenge you havent undertaken. That being nesting. It is one thing to survive and thrive. But another to give a headstart to other players as a result. It's a fun and unique experience of the isle that even Deinos can do. Collecting food and keeping small deinos save is a whole new can of beans to master.

Deino cant vomit or get sick in any way. This includes Cerato's ability.

10:22 tip: For that shallow spot, you can do the “Water sprint “ deino is able to do, basically u just press M2 while swimming (Try doing aiming to the surface, and u sprint and can make a good distance to catch a player there. For that spot, the sprint takes over the whole shallow spot ;)
