Overall a pretty solid experience with this 2 paddle build. Easy remapping, quality components used and a solid design. True that these builds don't touch some levels of customization that I'm accustomed to from Battle Beaver but I still think they get the job done. Looking forward to checking out the 4 back paddle build and their XBSX controllers! Stay awesome everyone 👏

How would you compare these controllers to battle beaver ?

Bro we missed you and I'm glad you're back. I own both The Hex Rival and the Ultimate Controllers and they're both Amazing. The delivery time is amazing considering it's made overseas and the back buttons are new to me but I got used to them very easily. I have the rubber and it textile grip also and they're both great

Tbh I got a scuf reflex and I love the new back paddle layout for the ps5 controller ... but definitely a great revision. You should definitely do a review of the scuf reflex

Dude it’s such a BEAUTIFUL build! Wow! That is a sexy controller. Great reviews as always. If I were to go back to controller (not likely) I would hands down get an elite from any of these companies. That paddle design is pretty good, never seen that before. Love the curve fitting the controller. I’d be curious to see how the interchangeable sticks hold up. Over time I know the plastic connectors can weaken and snap.

3:58 They're durable but at some point, they'll break, and that happened to me. The paddles were unusable at that point. I think ExtremeRate/Hex Gaming is aware of this and the released an accessory which is, metal paddles. I tried them and they gave my controller a 2nd life Overall I recommend this controller.

I add the back paddels to my Standard PS5 controler and are really really good, i use the metal back paddles

Those back paddles remind me a lot of the ds4 back button attachment. Love the placement of them. Such a nice looking controller though

I prefer to just make it myself like I did with my PS4 controller with the extreme rate dawn remap kit. It's cheaper and kinda fun to do (at least for me) and when something goes wrong I can usually identify the problem, buy a part if needed, and fix it myself

Do a review on the new Gulikit Kingking 2 pro! They made their own analog stick with [NO DRIFT].

Only problem I had with my hex gaming 4 paddle build was the left trigger squeaks when pressing it so I just put WD40 in the trigger and it went away probably not a good idea but was tired of hearing the spring squeak 🐭

Would've loved to had heard his thoughts on dual sense edge

Does the controller come with hair triggers without asking?

So I have the remap kit in mine for about a year now. The kit and controller were made really well...except for my paddles. For some reason my right button/paddle broke due to the plastic paddle breaking where the pin holds it in place to the board after 7 months and fully broke off recently. Personally I'd prefer if the paddles were metal or stronger plastic but overall great to use online

I have the remap kit too, and the same problems. Mine broke from the same spot. I glued it and it works now. Otherwise the paddles are great. I ordered the rise remap kit separetly and installed it myself. I did the same for my brother and friend, they haven’t got the same issues.

Undecided weather to use tactical (mouse click) triggers or the soft click triggers shown on this controller 🤔

What I want is someone to make a new design in terms of ergonomics. The dualsense makes my hands hurt and cramp up. Still annoyed we can't just use our old controllers. Would love to be able to use my scuf impact.

get a Cronus Zen and all you gotta do is plug it in and you can use virtually any controller you want on any console you want.

Yo bro what’s up long time no videos! I discovered a new custom gaming controller named Hypr, was looking for your review but there’s none. Would love to hear your thoughts on it.

so i got one months ago and the back paddles broke day 2 i submitted my claim and not only did they get back to me within hours they overnighted me the parts to fix the controllers and tools cause i stated i dont have a screwdriver small enough to do it

over time my back buttons just stopped working, first they would sometimes work and sometimes wont, then they just stopped. Didnt even bother with trying another one, Back paddles had bad placement for my comfort

For ps4 I just got back button attachment from Sony and it’s the best 20 bucks I have ever spent never had a single issue for 2 years and still going so anybody on ps4 I recommend just buying that and saving yourself 200 plus dollars

Bro I just bought the Scuf ps5 reflex FPS and the HEX are no competition at all, I paid £289 with tax and shipping I live in the UK and I ordered the 12th of this month and got delivered today the 20th, the side and back grip is excellent, you have 3 presets and the mapping is just as easy if not easier to do on the Scuf, plus you have 4 very ergonomic paddles which are very comfortable to use from day 1as I played Vanguard and there was a big difference in my gaming so dude the HEX are no competition to scuf oh I forgot to mention you get 2 free joysticks domed the left higher for aiming and the 6ft charging braided cable and no controller comes packed better than scuff, the box was inside a protective stylish side box then you open and you have protective foam on your joysticks so I paid £9 more well prob less as thec£ is stronger than the $ and got a lot better controller go check them out you won't regret buying one 😁👍😎🇬🇧

My controller r1 button gets stuck , I think the button itself is a bit smaller than the factory one causing it to get stuck sideways

So this video didn’t help me choose a controller as I had ordered the rise kit with the triggers yesterday… what it did do was clarify something I was suspicious about. This whole time I’ve been looking at pro controllers I kept saying “man all hexgaming Is doing is buying a oem ps5 controller and then using the extreme rate kit and selling it for a profit” little did I know they were related lol

why don't any of these controllers support steam input? id make paddle remapping alot better on PC.

It's not a pain at all. I've never had any issues. It's basically a dualsense with paddles. Nothing changes.

My biggest issue is stick drift. I got an air an paid like £250 for it. Just for it to get major stick drift in both sticks within 2-3 weeks. Then sending it back is a right pain and not as free as they claim. Does this have an option to have the “new” sensors in or woteva they are? The ones that prevent stick drift. If not then it’s a pass for me. I really want those back paddles tho. That’s the biggest thing for me as they are soo handy especially on some games.

I got one and those clicky buttons are noisy, to the point your teammates can hear them clicking all game. Do you have this problem. It actually sounds like your eating a steak. It's unplayable if you got teammates.

I bought this controller for FIFA 21, the first one broke down pretty quick, like after a month plus. I emailed them, they responded pretty quickly and offered to replace it. But sadly, the second one also broke down after a few months and I had to go get a stock controller from Best Buy. 😞

I’ve used quiet a few pro controllers myself and i always watch your reviews of them. I like the way scuf and BB paddles/ buttons feel in terms of actuation

The controller is okay but I’m telling you now, do not waste your time with any other brand of controllers just go with the scuf reflex and have fun playing! I returned the rival back the rival, waited 3 months for the aim controller just to have it sitting there looking pretty because it’s not built to be used as much. The reflex is built strong and seems like it will outlast all others! Take my word for it the scuf is the way to go!
