@@barneyedwards4305 In the pub...you look up... you see a drinker...in the flickering shadows of the firelight, his eyes are wide with fear as he listens to the tale of terror. On the tip of his nose is a sizeable blob of Guinness froth.

I’ve listened to all of these fantastic short stories about 4 or 5 times now and I never miss an opportunity to listen again and again. And a really haunting theme tune to all the stories. When I first heard these stories,I was so impressed that I spent an age on google trying to find out If John connolly had written any more short or long supernatural stories, but I couldn’t see any. So if anyone knows anything about stories he wrote could you give me some details please.

I’m not sure which ones you have found but there is: Nocturnes the first publication and then a second- Night music: nocturnes volume two. They are in literary format but I’m not so sure about audio format for them all. There is also his Charlie Parker series, which if you haven’t read I would highly recommend! I fell in love with the Charlie Parker books and the writings of John Connolly through chance at a local charity shop. When I first picked up Charlie Parker’s ‘the reapers’ I fell for his writing. -hope this helps

Good grief - a triple threat: brilliant at selecting stories, bringing them to life AND illustrating them! I had no idea these were your work! Are they available as prints or postcards on Redbubble or any similar websites? They really add so much to the story. My current favourite is the illustration for "Bobby". The more I look at it, the more I see. Sometimes I see a road passing beneath a tunnel of trees at night; sometimes I see a body in a field and so on. Amazing.

@@tomsdottir The artworks are photos got from Google images then manipulated and mixed through a photoshop type program, using effects and blenders until I get the desired mood. They're not available in any other form, just KZread. The decaying mirror of "Bobby" brings an abstract element to the image which could be why you're reading various scenes within the picture. Like seeing things in the embers of a dying fire. When I was a child I was taken along to visit ancient relatives living in houses in various states of decay. The contrast with the fairly modern council house I was living in at the time stuck with me. I bring that developed sensitivity to this type of moody art work. Glad youre enjoying the channel, Tom !
