In the beginning of this year, Cleetus set about bringing life back to the old speedway. By the time he got the burnout pad and repaving done, the world was in a pandemic, threatening life itself. He wasn't deterred, and look at the life he's breathed into that place. When the time finally comes and he can open for fans to join him there, the Freedom Factory will be a triumph for all of us.

Dude is so underrated. I've been following him since his xdc days. His old e46 was absolutely ridiculous. 650 ft pounds of torque out of a 3 liter at 3500 rpm. He's was snapping blocks in half. I think he broke 10 engines in 7 events including an ls at the last round. After the last motor he went to Vaughn and said I'm driving for you next year and now he can finally drive as hard as he does without as many mechanical issues.

He has a natural ability. He also isn't afraid to push things. Having a certain level of confidence really helps with car control. It's all visual, the feel really comes from being dialed with the car. Like Cleetus can't explain how the car feels like VG, Or LZ or even Taylor, but he can do a few donuts and get an idea of how to move the car. It's incredible to watch. He might be more naturally talented then LZ.

I love that Cleet has gotten so cool with Vaughn. He obviously loves drifting, so who better to be friends with than THE drift guy. And Vaughn's last little line about "this is only the beginning" is sick. Watch for full FD comps coming to the FF! I also must say I love seeing all the brands play nice together...Ford, Chevy and all the imports just out there killing tires. It's beautiful...Cleet you are the man.

Vaughn is backed by Ford and many other companies when it comes to fixing and replacing his drift cars. Garrett has some sponsors, but they won't pay to replace Leroy in the event of an accident. Too much liability and hard work put into Leroy to let someone else possibly take that away.

The way I see it, anybody can get Vaughn Gittin Jr’s autograph, but only Cleetus has a hood autographed by Vaughn Gittin Jr’s car.

CLeetus and I both had smiles from ear to ear the whole video! I'm so happy for him, what a day!

I've gotta give it up to Cleeter. The man is a natural born talented driver. There's no doubt in my mind he could be a pro level driver in any discipline.

I'm a die-hard fan of the whole F D CUP I would give it a good 65% build test rebuild and test again then Nut and Bolt their cars just to be on a national level honestly they should be in the Olympic sport the work is 30% didn't make it to the show but they relentlessly and they never quit that's Cletus he will make the show someday I promise from what I seen today

@@chrispaxton6580 I think Jeremy drove Leroy before. Pretty sure that was pre-turbo though. I know they've all taken turns loading it on the trailers and a few guys have ran it on the dyno but yeah I think Garrett is the only one to ever race Leroy after the turbo setup.

I've never been a drift guy, nor have I ever heard of Vaughn Gittin Jr..... but after watching Cleeter's videos the last few days, I can honestly say I'm now a fan.... and Vaughn seems like a genuine good guy.

He is a genuinely good guy. Ive met him and Chelsea before at gridlife midwest and they are probably the kindest people in motorsports hands down! Vaughn complimented my mullet! Lol

Same here before this I had watched some drifting on T.V. but didn't really get into it to much at all but after watching clet I am definitely a fan !!

I was never into drifting either until about a year ago. Check out Taylor Ray his channel is really informative and his projects are cool and he's a really competitive grass roots drifter that should be sponsored by a team like Vaughn's he's that good of a driver. Adams liz's channel is ok. He has some of the sickest cars of any youtuber and isn't bad at drifting.

Just the fact the you OWN A RACETRACK and then adding that you get to know a legendary driver who lets you DRIVE HIS CAR is amazing. This is legitimately the one life I could wish for if anything

Not everybody figures out what their supposed to do with their time on earth, and then there’s Mr.Cleetus.... He’s figured it out and then continuously expanding, pushing and sharing. This mans life time achievements won’t be a list it’ll be one of the most epic books. Hopefully with many chapters and pictures. Cleetus McFarland a true American ripper!!!

I'm REALLY glad to see JR beat him over the head with personal safety, wearing helmets when doing anything on the track too - they were getting way too comfortable & lax there for a little while, not taking the dangers of a track like this serious enough

As an Aussie I love seeing Fox bodies playing hard, I wish we got them in Australia.

My cheeks hurt from smiling so much watching this. Way to go Cleet! Chelsea and Vaughn are some absolutely rad mentors! So much fun to watch!

That was so cool, to see professional drivers just hang out and have fun, and allow others to have fun with there cars. Coolest video ever i had a big smile the entire video
