The Rise of The Humanist Chaplains

This event was hosted in person and virtually by Atheists United and the University of Southern California Office of Spiritual and Religious Life on Sunday, June 25th in Los Angeles, California, USA.
___
We brought together four groundbreaking humanist chaplains to discuss their experience being some of the first secular chaplains to work in prisons, hospitals, universities, and the military.
This first-of-its-kind event explored how humanists are reshaping our ideas about the chaplain profession and uniquely addressing the needs of people with secular identities.
The panel discussion was moderated by Vanessa Gomez Brake, Associate Dean of Religious Life at the University of Southern California, and included military chaplain Marie-Claire Khadij, prison chaplain Elisa Rosoff, university chaplain Srishti Hukku, and hospital chaplain Joshua Berg.
A special introduction was presented by Greg M. Epstein, Humanist Chaplain at Harvard University & MIT.
Co-sponsors included Humanist Canada, The Humanist Society, and The Humanist Chaplaincy at Harvard & MIT.

This was an amazingly useful and insightful discussion, and has helped me immensely in my work as a Humanist school chaplain in Australia. I'd like more information on how I could qualify to train other Humanist chaplains please.
