Well this so called intellectual is not aware of history of India. He was not able to tell why democracy worked in India with people with so many languages, regional cultures etc. He was not able to explain the underlying unity beneath this seemingly diverse group of people. For example the ancient term Bharat, the sacred geography of India etc many things which points to the underlying unity.
