He will be the most active champ soon. Also 2 division active champ. I believe he will be the greatest Ufc fighter ever. The guy is a machine his grappling, striking, cardio and power are all maxed out, the guy is an absolute beast.

Gotta love the real thing. These donkeys like sterling (illegitimate) become champ and then duck and dodge for years. Once a year if that. Champion needs to be at least 3X year.

lol coming back to this with hindsight. Still hasn’t fought for the belt, missed weight, called everyone out and only beat smaller fighters than him. And his cardio is awful. I’m a huge fan but I think he will only be a 1 weight world champ and even then, I can’t see it for a while. His grappling is unbelievable tho
People from Chechnya are built different. This guy is going all the way to the top, he is scary good.
Being from Northern Ireland myself i was rooting for Rhys Mckee, but my god i didn’t realise how good Khamzat is!

Colby is not even a big puncher at WW. He has only 4 ko's in 16 fights. Khamzat has 1 punch knockouts at MW

We had a chechnian guy join our gym last year, the grappling control is just different level, hes still pretty raw with the stand up, but he picks things up super quick, hes 145 and im a big 155 small 170 and he gives me trouble most spars, they are the kindest most evil breed of ppl...

@@nokhchi1079 It has more to do with the Soviet sporting system, they encouraged and invested in different sports in different regions, boxing in Ukraine, gymnastics in Romania, weightlifting in Bulgaria etc so the sport quickly becomes part of the culture. They used it as a way to integrate.

First Dagestan, now Chechnya producing great UFC fighters. These guys are some of the toughest fellas in the world, with excellent grappling backgrounds. Looking forward to seeing Chimaev progress!

His striking is a way higher level than Khabibs and his grappling is equal.. His career will be the most entertaining ever lol as long as he doesnt injure himself training like Khabib 😂 They are the only ones who can beat themselves lool

This fight will be a big tell on whether Chimaev has fully recovered from COVID... provided it leaves the first round.
I see a lot of Khabib like qualities in Khamzat, great team member/leader, always pushing for excellence in his training.

This man is ibra MMA version, a brash and confident individual.
What i like the most about him is he doesn't take 6 months to fight and is willing to fight anyone and don't do huge weight cuts to fight smaller guys. I hope his lungs have recovered 100% from covid.

There was a pause in watching UFC fight, now I am interested again. Can't wait to see his next fight

The way he swoops in for the body lock and double leg behind his boxing is beautiful.
Most complete fighter in the UFC in my opinion. I think he could only be stopped when he starts fighting at middleweight (maybe light heavyweight) and faces heavy punchers. Dude seems to be a lot bigger than other welterweights.
