I hate the fact that NS sold 8520. It looked amazing in the sonic bonnet red. At least it's still in service :). Great video!

Great video! I never knew this engine was rebuilt by CAF out of all companies. This engine was always my favorite of the repainted NS rebuilds.

Nice research...I was wondering why I hadn't spotted NS using it much if at all. They have some other color schemes in the flamethrower style that I have seen on video of some of their trains.

Do you think NS will take 8520 back? I heard that they might but idk how true that info is

Yeah 8520 was being leased to the UP for the longest time, it could be on the CN now though, it was reported two months ago on UP trackage in Nebraska

Nice video. I heard rumors that one of the reasons it failed was be because it was improperly transported and the wheels locked up resulting in flat spots.
