Perhaps one day Eddie Hearn will get involved and Speedway will become big just like Darts . 🤞

Sadly, I think we have lost too many venues, darts can be staged in many general arenas. I would have liked to see Eddie or his Dad get involved in the 80s or 90s before the decline got too bad

It just needs a spark , like the Luke Littler effect on darts . Peter Collins Mk2 maybe and some new promotional thinking and stadiums will open up . A must to keep Sky on board.

By returning to one league again it creates brand and format confusion ? What the hell is going on with speedway ? Unbelievable? Let me know when Hackney HL1 Kestrels are back !

Well you never know! I think where the Hackney stadium was is very close to West Ham's "London Stadium". There is probably room round the pitch for a good speedway track rather like the old Wembley stadium and I believe Chelsea's Stamford Bridge too. I do think it would be a return of the West Ham Hammers rather than Hackney Kestrels. I wouldn't be placing any bets on it though!
