ideological subversion Edit: If anyone wants a definition ChatGpt v1 said this Ideological subversion is a type of psychological warfare in which the values and beliefs of a society are systematically attacked and undermined. This can be done through various means, such as propaganda, media manipulation, and infiltration of institutions. The goal of ideological subversion is to change the way people think and act in a way that is favorable to the subverter. It is a form of covert influence, as it seeks to change people's beliefs and behavior without them being aware of it.

I'm an actor and independent film maker and honestly what's happening in hollywood is disgusting. the oscars are worthless now. the upside to this whole thing is that now there's a good opportunity to decentralize the film industry and for a lot of talented indy film makers to take over.

@@jazzdub4958 By "pro-American" you mean pro-war? How many of those pro-America movies had heroes breaking the law for the greater good? Because that's how the Permanent Government (the unelected part) sees itself and wishes to be portrayed. I can't name a single movie in my lifetime that portrayed an honest business man or an un-bigoted business man. The narratives have shifted over time, but Hollywood pushed socialism. You never see the good guys in a Hollywood film arguing for LESS government intrusion. Her dad was right. You don't realize how you were being indoctrinated at the time, methinks. As for Ronald Reagan, he talked a good game, and he was right about high taxes stifling prosperity and tax revenues over the long haul. He was right about government intervention as being a bigger problem than the problems it purported to solve. But in actions, he was very authoritarian. War on Drugs, 55 mph speed limit, low-interest loans for New England fishermen, ... He intervened any time he pleased, because he was so sure he was right, which is exactly what he supposedly stood against. And don't get me started on the Cold War. I was staunchly anti-Soviet during those years. I think I would have taken a different view if I had known all the things we were doing to different countries prior, during, and since his administration. The main thing that made me believe as I did was the ridiculous over-estimates of the actual Soviet threat. Our "Intel Community" sold me a bill of goods, routinely over-estimating Soviet threats by easily a factor of 10. Reagan slowed the rate of growth of domestic spending, but he made no fundamental shifts in domestic policy in that regard. The teeth gnashing by Democrats over entitlements was enough for him to mostly leave them alone. More than that, the enormous over-estimate of the Soviet threat gave the defense industry and all its minions a blank check. He and all his successors bought and SOLD us a world view full of dangers that justified any manner of murder, war, and subversion to fight those dangers, setting the stage for the war-mongering security state of today. Reagan did some good things and some bad things. He's not the idol so many on the right seem to worship. Like Trump, he was elected to drain the swamp, but when he left, the swamp was bigger and stronger than ever before.

People always think their formative decade was the best decade. Your parents will say movies from their formative decades were better than the garbage of the 90s. Also, PBD's reasoning is very bad. Hollywood had 95% marketshare in 1920s when the market was tiny. No one was making movies back then. As movie making becomes more democratized, as the technology becomes cheaper, so now even KZreadrs can make feature length films, of course it is going to steadily decline. It's frankly impressive Hollywood still has 55% share, given how expensive actors and sets are in major metro areas, in comparison to filming movies in NZ.

Thank you Pat. I can't remember the last time I've watched a NEW movie......or ANY movie, for that matter, it's been years. I ditched my cable and haven't even owned a TV in close to a decade. People put these celebrities on pedestals, as if they are really any different than the next guy. People hang on their every word and many people track every little detail of their lives. I once dated a woman and her sister lived with her. They did nothing, but sit around everyday talking about the latest celebrity gossip and they would both get crazy excited and wound up during these discussions. Needless to say, that one didn't last long lol. As a result of the masses worshipping these people and viewing them as Gods, the elite have placed them with the task of globalist, woke agenda mouthpiece. They, along with the rest of the mainstream media ARE the propaganda machine, THEY are the ones who are in charge of deluding the minds of the general population with their sick, twisted, evil, egomaniacal ideas, as a means of furthering nefarious agendas of the upper-tier elite.....the ones who are behind the scenes and REALLY run, not only this country, but the entire world. Hollywood and mainstream media, in general, is absolutely evil and really needs to be avoided.

He makes the movies he wants and has a faithful if smaller audience. You can always recognize a Tarantino movie. Get out of Hollywood. Get out of California. Go where you can be freely creative. My view is that the rise and fall of Hollywood cannot be seen in isolation, rather It should be seen within the context of the general rise and fall of the American Empire and its global influence. This fall is manifested in all major spheres of this empire in Politics, Economy, Banking and Currency, Academia and in society and culture and the latter is where Hollywood comes in.

They are great black directors, actors and actresses that don’t get the nod because they are black. The issue with the world is very simple! Pick the best talent from inception then we won’t have to do these extremes to correct the issue. The reason why Hollywood is loosing their audience is because people of color are not supporting it. According to this dumbo black people make up only 12.5 of the population but out spend any racial group. Blacks also consume more entertainment than any other racial group.

I was a major cinephile for most of my life, and would see about 50-60 movies a year (often repeat viewings of something I liked). I owned about 2500 DVD's and VHS tapes, and more merchandise for my favorite films than I care to admit. That all ended around 2015 or so, starting with The Force Awakens. It became massively apparent that Nu Hollywood was radically shifting its artistic and creative vision away from anything that appealed to me. Activism began to replace storytelling, and once I began seeing Wokeism sticking its ugly face into everything, I lost almost all interest in new films. I'm still a major film buff, but I've stopped spending any money. I simply enjoy my existing collection. I doubt I'm alone. That's a lot of money Hollywood is leaving on the table.

I agree wholeheartedly with PBD's points here. Hollywood has been dead to me for a while now. As an actor myself (with imdb credits), at the end of 2022, I chose to stop my pursuit of Hollywood. I have scripts and story concepts they would NEVER produce just based on it featuring strong male characters with old school 80's style action. On another note, I just watched a video from the California Insider called "Why California Is Losing Hollywood" with David Graves. Very interesting stuff. I also spoke about Hollywood being dead on my channel (T.O.T. episode 40). Hollywood has been the promo for Cali....but I predict that will change even sooner than anticipated. By 2035, there will be another force in the game, for sure.

I’m so happy you put this together. You’re the first one I’ve seen to give an accurate history lesson to our kids from an entertainment industry prospective. Movies music television video game have an enormous influence. Hollywood was not always entirely Liberal and woke. May I request you use this format to do a history of television programming evolution & one on music. Remember Little House on The Prairie? Or The Waltons? The Monkeys came before the Brady Bunch. Happy Days came on at 8. Laverne & Shirley taught single girls how to survive life in the big city. About friendship & loyalty with no string attached. Boosem Buddies . Soap. Maude Gimme A Break 227. The Decon. Benson. Spin City. Night Court. Cheers where everybody knows you’re name. And unlike Twitter, They’re always glad you came . Cosby Show. (For without there would be no Raven Symone) A different World (Jasmine Guy, Lisa Binet, Jada Pinket Smith, 2Pac) The opening theme lyrics are, I know my parents love me. Stand behind me come what may. I know now that I’m ready because I finally heard them say it’s A Different World from where you come from. (I did not look them up. Every word is branded on the core of my being for 40 years. Corporate media was for old people. No one under 30 watched that crap. Maybe Nancy Grace until her mean stopped being entertaining. My worldview was absolutely impacted in the 80s - 2000s by the Lethal Weapon Movie Series. John Stewart Daily Show. The Colbert Report. Bill Marh Real Time was our only trusted news. Rocky. Rambo. True Lies. My Body Guard. (Not to be confused with The Bodyguard) Less the Zero. New Jack City. Philadelphia. Jungle Fever. American History X. True Romance. Weekend at Bernie’s. Summer School (Mark Harmon Kiresty Alley) Gremlins The list goes on. I could be here all day. Until the mid 60s Entertainment was something grown ups did after the children went to bed. The rule was Children are to be seen and not heard. Beatles, Elvis James Dean & the launch of Playboy magazine has been accused as the start of America coming apart at the seams by suggesting young people had a say over how their government was run. The politics came into television as far as I can tell around the 60s with Mash & All in the Family. I’m not sure about Hollywood movies. Some say Gone With the Wind because nobody swore on screen until then. Movie theaters were threatened with boycotts if they dared platform profanity to the children. I love history. Cut to 1992 at the tender age of 22. My peers & I were annotated as the voice of a new generation! The turn of the century was upon us. Y2k we called the upcoming days. Madonna went to Italy & told off The Vadican, on live TV. Because she was an American where speech & expression are free & to silence her show would be a violation of her civil liberty. it was our patriotic duty, as the youthful citizenry to join the new revolution (prince named his band that) Janet had Control & Rhythm Nation. Everyone credits Obama for igniting the youth vote. No. Not even close. In fact I’d love to see some numbers. People talk about Trump coming down the escalator. Please. That same year 1992 When young Bill Clinton the Hot handsome in the prime of his life Governor of stuffy conservative old Arkansas played saxophone on Arsenio Hall, I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s my generation’s Moon Landing! The Country had been handed over to the youth. The responsibility of all Boomers calamities was now our responsibility. We were convinced we were able and ready to take it on eagerly. God knows we genuinely believed we were ready. Then little by slow before we know our country is going to capsize if don’t correct from this rediculously over dramatic turn to the hard left. I’m not suggesting a complete 180. A hair to the right so we don’t sink the ship. Politics is always downstream of culture. Because art is how you capture the hearts & minds of the people & inspire them to do great things. 💪☮️❤️😊☯️ KZread is a Time Machine ride it while it’s still open & free. This was a long rant. I guess you can say I got triggered in the head and all these thoughts came pouring out.

Excellent! Let Hollywood self destruct. I'm 52 and honestly throughout the 80's, 90's, 2000's Music and Film were a large part of my life and culture. I'm also a big fan of the free market and healthy competition. Hollywood and the Corporate music industry is inevitably going to be laying next to the Legacy news media in the graveyard. There are already other upcoming studios rising up, actors and producers leaving Hollywood. Musicians like Tom Macdonald who are 100% independent and are destroying the competition. Maybe the citizens of the US should vote on also building walls around California and NYC. Letting them become the anarcho terrorist states they are becoming by design and enjoy their communist utopia. If DC doesn't regain its sanity soon and purge itself of the same mental illness it can also join Cali and NYC and the rest of the country can move forward.

I used to work for 20th century fox and was a top level executive assistant to the executives who were calling the shots for every movie that was produced and quit working in the film industry in 2016 primarily because of the shift in creativity and politics, but more importantly because hollywood was gearing towards politics and it was not as creative as it used to be. Also because I wanted to make money on my own and come back to the film industry by financing films which is already my goal.

Dear Pat, I think this is the first time I have ever commented on your videos despite being an avid listener of Value-Tainment for many years. Even though not all information is linked with where I currently reside (Australia) it is good to know the political sphere of the United Sates as it is inherently linked with Australia with military alliance and partnerships. I am very impressed with all of your interviews having truly no fear and inviting everyone as no one else is doing in on KZread. The wokeness BS is tragic and is beginning to aggressively come to Australia. It is in a way motivating me to keep building my real-estate sales, other ventures to be in such a position whereby I can speak my mind without embarrassment, control, cohesion or anything similar. Journey has begun at the late age of 32. This may be unrealistic but is there anything that I can do for you in Australia or for anyone on your usual panel (they are all phenomenal). Best wishes and keep up the amazing work, Marcin D. Krysiak.

As they ruin movies, it should become clear that movies were just a distraction in the first place, a very effective distraction that kept the population docile and compliant while their country was occupied by corrupt people. Everything that Woke destroys is something that people didn't need in the first place.
