    you should get rings and practice with it anyway, it will really strengthen your elbows and your arm bones, i used to have a lot of problems in my shoulder joints and elbow joints and wrist joints with lack of mobility, pain in moving, and clicking and popping all the time. i may have had injuries but mostly just not using these and exercising them. with the practice of gymnastics especially rings i have incredibly good feel in my shoulder girdle and elbows,, really flexible and strong now, and no joint issues. it was really hard at first, but gymnastic straight arms exercises really do make your elbows extremely tough, just make sure to pace yourself and give your body enough nutrition and time needed to recover and become stronger. it will increase your bone density and make the previously fractured bones stronger as well. start slow and see how it goes.

    Bodybuilding is better for building bodies! Bodybuilding *includes* calisthenics exercises (though focuses heavily on the simpler, less skilled ones, as performance improvements on these are less about skill development and more about growing muscle) but is not limited to them. In fact when you include weighted calisthenics, such exercises are known in sport and exercise science as "closed-chain exercises" and are much appreciated in bodybuilding. Since bodybuilding training is the science of doing whatever it takes to optimize muscle growth, whether calisthenics exercises or other forms of weight training where appropriate, the only way it could be inferior to another discipline, such as calisthenics, at building muscle, would be if the whole discipline of bodybuilding were incompetent broscience that didn't know best how to do what it specifically set out to do. I have indeed seen some people pushing calisthenics programs actually try to say that is the case, or perhaps that bodybuilding training is not optimized for natural athletes, or whatever. This isn't true at all.

    body building does not take into account flexibility and mobility or the health of joint and tendon. for still rings strength it requires way more than bodybuilding demands of you but the rewards for this extra effort does pay off, and i guess it is matter of opinion which one you like better a gymnst physik or the body building look. in my opinion, i simply think bodybuilding is boring and perform amaazing skill is cooler, and is a much better project that takes up my time and interest so the strength gymnastic apparatus like ring is the best fit for my own training needs. i think for natural athlete it's better because you won't go down the route of taking steroid because you want to look a certain way, you will simply train for the sport and performance and is better for your body to have strength in motion rather than puffed out muscles posed on stage in a pageant style.

  • @KeterMalkuth

    @KeterMalkuth

    @@T.R.A.I.N.I.N.G. Muscle stimulus is greatest in the most lengthened position you can achieve in a muscle group. As a result, the more flexibility you can exhibit *through* a weight or load bearing exercise, the better it'll be for bodybuilding. As well, bodybuilding, due to the need to achieve a balanced, well rounded physique, will naturally result in better joint health if the bodybuilder is intelligent. That's not to suggest bodybuilding is "The best sport" or training discipline, but I think it's important to point out that bodybuilding as a style of training is just fine. The issue is that PED overuse and abuse is rampant within all categories, more so than almost any other sport. Hence the primary reason it's unhealthy. Remove the steroids and it's a really practical and healthy training modality.
