The fact that someone speaking at a conference attended by the most milqetoast of boomers, ostensibly on "The Right", can drop the term "Managerial Elites", with the expectation that it is understood by the audience, is encouraging.

This should be the purpose of basketweaving. Meeting people just to meet people isn’t enough, it needs to have purpose, goals, and dedicated organization to be anything more than essentially a more wholesome chan meetup. If some of the people in our circles spent a tenth of the time they focus on politics instead onto organization that achieves goals motivates people to become better, we’d be in a much better place

I saw Dune Pt. 2 and had a similar thought, isn’t the real right the empire? Why does everyone want to be the rebels?

@@ShowMeMoviesInc. Well, in Dune the Emperor tried to destroy House Atreides, and now Paul is getting Revenge. Not the best example. Also, he is the prophet and his son will be THE Emperor for thousands of years.

This was fantastic. He lost me a little with "build a parallel state", which sounded even worse than the libertarians saying "don't, like it build your own google" but he was able to support his arguments well

This will not work as a counterrevolutionary strategy, maybe as an non-revolutionary cultural modus operandi as long as it doesn't excite the existing powerbase. Tac has a clip of Moldbug talking about why left wing political action can not be adopted by the right
