Girl don't. I've let my hormones control me as well and it still does I'm 18. I was in a relationship with an older guy(24) it was somewhat manipulative but it was so intense as well. I've found myself gone back to him now but deep down I know it isnt right. I'm letting my emotions cloud my thinking .Now I don't know what to do. It's not a necessity. It would only bring you unnecessary pain and baggage. I'm also starting college. I'm thinking of ways to disassociate with him. I feel I'm not ready for this and I need to wait for the right time when I'm capable. This guy is nice tho but I feel like it's not right. My dad told me the same thing as this man. While watching this video one thought came to my mind that you don't have to be physically involved to be in a romantic relationship. That is just a choice that a couple make for them. And a relationship without any physical involvement can also cause you many troubles and heartbreaks that are obstacles in the path of your success according to the video. We don't live in a constant world. Things around us change, also the people and so we have to learn to adapt otherwise we'll crumble like a cookie. We are bound to face difficulties in our life if not because of lover than because of family or friends, it could be anything. In my opinion it is necessary that we face difficulties in our life, that's how we learn from them and grow mature. If you think that only boyfriend and girlfriend are the problem of a teenage life than you don't know teenagers, their life is more complicated than people assume. Sometimes these girlfriend and boyfriend are the people that they've survived. Everyone's situation is not the same, some might not have anyone in their family and friends to relay on imotionally which could lead them to take those life decisions that might harm them. Elders are supposed to guide the children so they won't do anything that might harm them in any way and give them imotional support which they need, telling them boyfriends and girlfriends are not good for them is not going to help them in their life. Anyways these are just my thoughts it's not necessary that everyone agrees to that but I'll say one thing that atleast try and think about it once.

Heartbroken single but now at least I can say it proudly I choose education over a toxic relationship, escaping a love triangle to go deep in the knowledge of my books 📚. Wish me luck for a sustainable future life.

The whole point is, you can have a boy/girlfriend at any time in your life, it doesn't matter, you can be 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and have a boy/girlfriend, but just don't make it as a trend, and don't make your relationship so hurry, so you can live the best with your life. You can't force yourself to have a boy/girlfriend when you are young, or after you succeed, because having a boy/girlfriend is mainly emotions based, so just go ahead to have a boy/girlfriend if you love the person, then keep balancing, living your own life. I really disagree with people who said that "you should get a boy/girlfriend after succeeding". It's painfully wrong. What if he/she wants to be yours just because of your success? If he/she truly loves you when you have nothing but yourself, that's the ones who you should be in love with.

Yessssss so trueeee. While in school and high school everyone made so many unnecessary relationships. I did not go into that and slowly after so many bullies, I thought that I was not good enough to make one. It is now that I am in college I feel that I am ready for such a new relation, and maybe now I know with whom. But this feeling would not go away. Now I am so proud of all my decisions. I really feel happy!

Im 24 and i didn't had a girlfriend once so far. My mind always keep going about having a girlfriend and just live the life. At the same time iam studying and need to focus on it.
