You're spot on dude. Karl definitely has some gems of wisdom, he just expresses them differently.

I met Karl at a book signing he is genuinely not acting he is just how you think he is a really nice guy with a unique look at the world. I hate when people think he is thick he just has a different way of looking at the world most times he has actual great points.
Shout out to everyone else who still listens to the old xfm podcasts to go to sleep 😴😴
Karl is definitely genuine, I grew up in the same place as him and his personality, his view points, etc are very much standard here :)

HUGE RESPECT TO JOSH FOR CONTINUING TO DO VIDEOS AND MAKE US LAUGH DURING THESE DAYS. Frankenstein's Lab has stopped making videos. JOSH IS THE MAN! RESPECT!
Your laugh is so organic and infectious. I subscribed a few weeks ago, and I've watched and enjoyed everything. Most of it I've seen, but watching it with someone else who gets it, is like watching it again in a different way. So much fun! Thank you.

I suffer alot with anxiety, these reaction videos with you and Taylor are amazing, headphones on and chilled
English people love watching these reactions because it’s kinda like watching these for the first time with you. The amount of times I’ve fell asleep listening to these podcasts
I'm a Brit that's been watching your channel for a few weeks now. I've loved following you on your journey as you become one of us. :)
Love the pilky reactions! Dont forget that An Idiot Abroad has 3 seasons, the last one with the great Warwick Davis as his travelling companion. After An Idiot Abroad Karl got a little bit more control over where he was sent in "The Moaning of life". Karl really broadened his mind over the years, yet his head is still as round as ever, I love him.
i don't know if you've done this before but I would be interested to see a tour of the room you record in because you have a lot of collectables and I think it would be nice to see

Loving the quick turn around time for these vids. +1 subscriber my G
This was one of the funniest episodes for sure
I had heard that Gervais and Merchant did the podcast for free. They charged £1 for each podcast and Karl got the profits as he didn't have a job

No they did series 1 free of charge as in no one got paid for them, and after they got something like a million downloads Karl asked to charge £1 for series 2

Karl Pilkington saying don’t be ignorant is the greatest thing I’ve ever heard.
I'm enjoying these videos thank you. I'd suggest reacting to Brass Eye but I'm not sure whether it would travel over there to the USA with it being satire. Thanks again and all the best.
I love all these reactions. Can’t wait for the hostage negotiator episode 😂😂😂
I agree with the Valentine’s Day as well preferring to give my wife gifts year round. Examples: vacuum, oven mitt, mop bucket etc...she does the same though the usual gift she gives me is a stabbing

Not that it matters to anyone but by “Pancake Tuesday” Karl is referring to the once-per-year day of “Shrove Tuesday” when, for various, dated, vaguely-religious reasons, many British people (and people from some of the other former colonial countries) make pancakes (crepes in US English) supposedly to use up certain ingredients before lent begins. He’s not talking about all-you-can-eat pancakes at IHOP every Tuesday like the animation implied.

The animation team really should have been better informed. There are so many little mistakes trying to translate the UK terms into animation.
Amazing timing, just finished your Idiot Abroad video. I think you should watch an episode of Father Ted.

I've got some monkey news for you. Some years ago a Royal Navy warship was on deployment around Africa and some of the crew bought a pet monkey in a cage which was smuggled back onboard. This monkey was hidden away in one of the mess decks and fed on fruit. It was also taught how to smoke and it was freely given alcohol. By the time the ship was due to return to Plymouth the monkey was a chain smoking alcoholic which also had a serious masturbation problem. However, the lads in the mess deck knew it would be found by customs back in Plymouth. Faced with this problem, the night before returning to base the monkey, in its cage, was taken to the upper deck and was given a float test. Unfortunately the monkey failed the float test. Allegedly.
Been waiting for this while watching an idiot abroad 😂😂😂
You should react to Ricky gervais talking about Karl on Conan

Great to have an excuse to watch Karl Pilkington again, thanks for the daily uploads and props to the Mighty Max t-shirt! They are the only toys I managed to salvage and hold onto from my childhood.
It’s great seeing folk across the pond enjoying these videos. Ricky, Steve and Karl had THE original podcast! Joe Rogan needs to thank them haha! Glad to see you two are enjoying it. Especially in these rather unpleasant times. Stay happy, guys. Subscribed! Cheers, from Scotland! 🏴

Please react to Tim Vine!!! Love the channel and I'm happy to get in to these Ricky Gervais shows, forgot how funny Karl is!
Snails and Slugs do actually interact and socialise. All 'solitary' creatures do, they just don't spend a certain amount of time within a group to be called 'social'. They have to interact to reproduce, for example.

You should do a small reaction to "they shall not grow old". A percy Jackson documentary where he turned ww1 footage into amazing quality and colour. Real ground breaking shit. He even add vocalist specialists add sounds and voices based on what they were saving. The trailers only 2 mins but I guarantee it'll leave you jaw dropped.

Amazing film
Beetles and Flies think, feel and have the same capacity for consciousness as Humans and all Living Beings do. I say capacity as we can't prove we have consciousness, other Humans do or that it exists in a tangible way and so can only say 'capacity for'. But it means in practice we and other living beings do have it. None are disgusting, either. It's all just relative to our own cultural perception.
Hey Josh please try something from Harry and Paul. I know you’ll love it :)
Must watch Karl Pilkington 1st tv appearance, it’s called “meet Karl Pilkington” Karl is Karl
You've got to do bob mortimer compilation on would I lie to you 👍🏻🇬🇧

You should watch some ashens, maybe "50 year old instant root mash"
Yes you are right, Karl is sometimes very correct. I'm always impressed that he said that rights come from having numbers. Even the founding fathers of America thought they were self-evident and God-given, when in truth you only have the rights that you're able to defend.
Do u ever sleep? Lol 😁

Cheers mate Rob Beckett Romesh ranganathan When you get to it
Bro...If you are seriously feeling our dry sarcastic self depricating British humour you should really check out 'I'm Alan Partridge' season 1 and 2 ( only 12 epps in total ) ...A total classic character ,a failed talkshow host relegated to the graveyard shift on local radio, by comedian Steve Coogan..Anyone who loves Ricky and the things that influenced him loves Alan partridge by default....Then once you have got to know Alan he has 'mid morning matters'
Are you using British wired here?! 'Daft' and 'shat'! Do Americans normally say those? I like it.
17:48 Think he's referring to North Sentinel Island? Not a good place for a vacation :D
