The Riches of a Life Knowing God | The man who found hidden treasure | Matthew 13.44 | Dr Masters

A convert to Christ is someone who discovers the gospel (meaning the momentous news) of Christ, and the new life that He gives, and who surrenders all to Him. Here are the tremendous differences between the materialistic life and the Christian experience of life.
04:42 Discovering the gospel
05:19 What is the gospel?
11:30 Conversion to God is a release from captivity
17:59 We are captive to sin
19:52 We are captive to purposelessness
22:23 Conversion is a release from darkness
25:26 Conversion is a release from exclusion from God and his kingdom
27:38 Conversion is a release from a short life
30:24 Conversion is a release from a costly life
34:27 The legend of the Sword of Damocles and its message
'Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field' (Matthew 13.44). A mini parable of the man who found hidden treasure.

Such horrible comments about a truly blessed man of God who has been such a blessing to my soul since I came across his sermons since last night. Pure gold, what a blessed man of God preaching the unsearchable riches of Christ to all who will listen. Thank you Dr.Peter Masters. The Lord bless you for many more years of sermons.

Christian and Hopeful (from Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress) sing a song on this passage: "Behold ye how these crystals streams do glide (to comfort Pilgrims) by the Highway side. The meadows green, besides their fragrant smell, Yield dainties for them: And he that can tell What pleasant Fruit, yea, Leaves, these Trees do yield, Will soon sell all, that he may buy this Field".

Children of God, born in His love divine, In paths of righteousness, we are inclined. Guided by His Word, our Light, our Rod, Fear not, rejoice, we are the children of God. Through fiery trials, His mercy prevails, Under His wings, safely, our journey sails. Pure in heart, upon this earthly sod, Stand firm, be strong, we are the children of God. Our Shepherd leads, by still waters, we trod, With humble hearts, we honor and laud. In His kingdom, forever we'll applaud, Glory and honor, we are the children of God. PS I just made this with the help of GPT4 using only words from the KJV. God bless you Peter Masters

I also got an ad for this. If ever there was a mask off moment for "religion", having an elderly gremlin tell you to give up your costly life and that your not worthy salvation would do it. You get it by grace? And what is grace? Getting something your not worthy of. When he get to heaven he better hope God liked what he had to say.

He is speaking from the Bible. This man Peter Masters is a born again believer, there is no uncertainty in being born again. If you were to die right now, Where would you spend eternity?

Life is trash, actually, Paul calls it, dung, hope you know what dung is. God Himself calls us, filthy rags. Christ is everything. Dr. Peter Masters speaks raw truth.

I’ve never seen a more terrifying specimen of a human being, if god does exist, it’s certainly not speaking through one so terrible
