What the heck was that? Seating features not shown, third row of seats not compared...etc, and only hearing "ouches" on a bump....very informative guys

I enjoy watching these three reviewing together. They seem to have fun and VB-H has always been a wind up merchant with a mischievous grin.

Any consideration given to build quality /long term residual values / reliability? Some consumers may consider those to be more important factors than tray tables

Not some but smart ones. Majority is sheep's. Listen to what they say oh looks nice oh it's that. When it stops working it will be oh yes it looks so nice.

Ford S MAX is the only 7 seater that drives like a normal car (or even better)

I'm very happy with the Ford S-Max, super quite, roomy and well built. It's true that compared to Citroen and Peugeot, interiors seem less modern, but they are solid and for me that's what matters the most. We also have a Mercedes C class, which looks amazing, but surprisingly interiors are not well built like the S-Max.

Well in my town we call Ford "Rust Bucket" it is also produced like 300km away from me and no one really loves them. Its liek Ford lost its identity they used to be reliable cars now its just a rust bucket.

@@kalczarobert Well that's not my experience so far. 2 years and no issue. Car is well built, comfortable and not that bad to drive (considering it's a minivan).

Citroen also have flexible seating, but you didn't mentioned.

I don’t know why Erin took out the very back row of seats because I have one and you can fold all of them down without having to take the 6th and 7th seats out.

i love the 2010 7 seater Picasso its powerful when you put your foot down but its a van i say its a citroen dispatch to be honest

Ford s max!

Driven the 5008, pedals at an awkward angle, auto gearbox and engine incredibly laggy and sluggish, brake pedal overly assisted and difficult to modulate. Also not as spacious as you might think compared to traditional MPV style people luggers. Driving the S-Max at the moment, MUCH better car. More comfortable yet also nicer to drive. Control weights all excellent and gearbox and engine not sluggish at all. More spacious whilst looking better. No clue why it came 3rd.

For other readers: been driving 3008/5008 for 3+ years now and don't recognize anything said here. This is the comfiest ride ever (I'm 1.91 meter), and the auto gearbox is a thing of beauty. If you find the engine sluggish (probably the 1.2 gasoline) just put it in Sports, though I think it's very good for normal driving. Personally I recommend the 1.6 turbo as the 1.2 is a bit louder when reffing.

@@Jorg05111980 I have since driven two more of these cars and to some extent they were better so I do agree with you. All the ones I've driven have been the 130hp diesel. Gearboxes were definitely less laggy and the ride was good. I would still buy an S max however

Surprisingly, I have come to enjoy the comparison videos of those three ladies. Keep it up.

Citroen changed the steering wheel the older ones when then centre didn’t move with the controls was better

Rachael is the best reviewer of the 3. Her voice is very sweet and soothing. Looking forward to more reviews from her! I think the other two have seen better days.

Citroens 1.6 or 1.5 engine is powerfull enough and frugal.Unless you are towing a caravan go for the 2 litre.It doesn't drive like a van the body is low down more so than the previous model.Peugeot is more expensive a higher class but you pay for it

So it’s PSA vs Ford

I'm an owner of Citroen Grand Picasso Exclusive 2.0 and its touch screen is hopeless. Sensitivity of a stone... I do agree that the car makes impression of a van rather than the family car. Lots of rattlings around, noisy engine and sound of the wind. Nice looking car - outside & inside but quality is far from perfection. Citroen Service stations are even worse...

1.2 litre pure tech? They don't last very long at all...

Damn they can shove that 5008 up a mountain and push it off a cliff. It would still be slower than the s max too

Great vid but I’ve owned all these cars and by far the s-max is bigger and better it feels stronger built and more durable don’t be fooled by the grand picassos flash interior dash it’s cheap and plastic and give it a few years and things will start to malfunctioning and bits breaking off after all its a Citroen, French cars at their best

The French cars will be worth £1 by the time you paid them off but plastic parts will still cost a fortune & be hard to change...no review ever seems to take depreciation or maintenance into consideration....taking the front tyres off & bumper to access the headlamp bulb is a main dealer job in the Renault Megane for example.....is that not important to acknowledge incompetent design...

legioner9 How is the S-Max bad? It's got the best looks (in my opinion), the easiest infotainment system and the better range of engines. It's also better built, more fun to drive and will is undoubtedly more reliable.

legioner9 legioner9 I completely disagree with you, the PSA system is slow and clunky, plus, I like physical volume and climate controls which the Ford offers. I think the Peugeot and Citroen are outclassed by the S-MAX despite costing around the same. Even though the 5008 has just came out, it already looks dated with those tacky faux exhausts and glossy black treatments everywhere. S-Max all the way.

Pegout and citroen both have a terrible reputation for build quality and reliability they look pretty vile as well they deffinetly not going to last

Hahahaha, in what universe is anything better in this class then the S-max, let alone theese 2 cheap french low build quality, unreliavle plasticy confection products..?!
