They were always such good friends and the Doctor has lost so many. 😢 The DoctorDonna saves all and her child Rose saves her. ❤

I'll never be normal about the way he shouts, "Why does it have to be THIS?!" Because it strongly implies that he would prefer almost anything else. And understandably so. He erased Donna's memory to give her a chance at the life she deserved. He comes back years later and finds out she's built a family of her own and has people who need her, only to realize he's the one who's going to have to kill her in order to save all of London. This has a happy ending, yes, but it doesn't change the fact that he made that choice. How absolutely gut-wrenching and soul-destroying it must have been.
