Thats the difference between being amazing and one of a kind. It isn't exlcusive to League either obviously. Tom Brady, Michael Jordan, etc. When you are one of a kind, you are ALWAYS the best. Maybe in League it is a little more extreme, because theres always the Lebron vs MJ debate and League doesn't really have a more modern version of Faker at this point.

Faker, before going pro, was actually only playing normal games but he was too good, he had to wait for a very long time in queue before he gets matched. That was why he switched to ranked games.

Well they were doing that in Spring last year, 18/0 or something. Then got too prideful to ban Gwen & lost 2-3 final MSI. Then the same to World, didn't ban Aatrox & lost 2-3 World Final.

T1 almost did it in 2016. They took everything but MSI, losing in finals during 5th game vs EDG Morgana that year. Might have been 2015. Either way, they almost did it. Only lost 1 game at Worlds that year, 15-1.

I feel like this was a statement series from Faker. He got tired of hearing how Chovy was the new "goat" with the best mechanics - so he went and stomped Chovy out of relevance in both games. If Faker stays in this form, it's another world championship on his banner.

IIRC, people are saying that Chovy had the best laning phase out of all midlaners in the world since he always gaps the enemy mid in CS and priority.

@@lordpaulphilippfernandez9904 At one point, that may have been true. Current Chovy form has not been roaming at all, and still hasn't been able to dominate his lane, even against weaker laners. Faker made him look bad even in lane when they played.

I think Faker was annoyed at himself that he didnt perform to his usual standard during the worlds finals so he hardgrinded during the timr after and is now in even better form 😍

@@bygmesterfinnegan6938 because Chovy's farming is 10/10. Ik ik, saying this now everyone will call him Choky cuz I responded super late but realistically. His farming is super amazing just he sometimes griefs just for 1 extra cs. However, his laning phase in general is like 9/10 anyway and Faker is a player who the past few years didn't really gap his opponent. He just won through teamfights, ofc now he is gapping.
