He's already been brilliant but today should've walked off the pitch with 2 goals! Today, Pedri took his FIRST TWO SHOT ATTEMPTS IN TWO TOURNAMENTS + TWO GAMES OF A THIRD! He's created loads of brilliant chances that went wasted in both Euro 2020 and 2022 WC, but unbelievably never even attempted a single shot under Luis Enrique's tyrannical possession only tactics. It's time he was more aggressive and I don't know how he didn't score today or get another assist. Already has 1 assist in the tournament, today vs Italy he was unbelievable and looked dangerous every time he went down the field. Carried Spain forward for the entire match, even while being on the ball for less than usual (33 passes today and only 16 the last match). He's constantly looking like he's going to score or assist as a CAM of this team. Love how Spain are set up and I can't stop watching him and Yamal. The two have combined beautifully already and should've set each other up for multiple goals. Let's hope they do vs Albania and from here on out.
