The Republic's DARKEST Crime City *The City of Masks* [BLACK MARKET] - Star Wars

Because the Jedi Order and the senate were completely overloaded with missions and objectives relating to the Clone Wars, they had little time to focus on their true purpose of fighting crime, corruption and injustice in the galaxy. As a result of this, many criminal and black market outposts popped up on remote planets, with some being left to grow into thriving black market cities, run by the criminal syndicates. One of these cities, was so dangerous that all non-locals would have to put on a disguise before entering and conducting their criminal business, giving it the name “The city of masks”. So, lets find out just how dark and twisted this city really was.
Some time before the Clone Wars Began, a group of five Criminal organizations were running rampant throughout the mid rim, and it was becoming harder for them to conduct their business in secret because of the increasing security and patrols in the area.
Because of this, the five syndicates got together and created a small town on the planet Genarius, that could serve as a neutral ground for the secret meetings that took place between these organizations.
After creating the town and using it for their criminal purposes for some time, they soon discovered that many other dodgy people like smugglers, con-artists and fraudsters would love a place like this, so they decided to open their little down up and make a profit from all of these other criminals and gangs that would move in. This decision quickly caused the shady little town to spiral into a large city, with its population booming and many outsiders being attracted to, because of it’s confidential nature and ease of access for criminals who wanted to meet in secret.

Yep! I loved the Clone Wars era comics with Quinlan Vos & his squeeze, Kahleen, when he was ducking & diving amongst the denizens of the underworld using his "Korto Vos" alias. Good stuff!
