At this point I just stopped getting invested in any new KZreadr channel. I keep to those I truly enjoy like JobbyTheHong and MasakoX and just keep them and have full faith they are smart (or dumb in case of Jobby) enough to avoid this type of drama. I’m scared for life since these two have practically become my high school heroes when all of my other role models either fell off/forgotten or were involved in drama so if they were to fall like the others did I’d probably go mad.

The virus then turned him good due to double negative principle. (Explained in official documents by Evil + Evil = Good that's true for programming in real life too)

*_sigh_* I say this as someone with their own kinks, & as someone who’s been a Mega Man fan since the 2010’s. It is genuinely baffling as to how narcissistic one individual can be, & how toxic & unhinged one can be. Reploid REVO on a surface level with his videos on Mega Man canon has always been very interesting, like the structure of it all, & everything. but there’s just one problem……Himself. The guy is just full of himself, period. Like, his ramblings with the Game theory video is one thing, like fully missing the point of the theory video & just being livid. And then there was his video about the state of Mega Man, that just frustrated me because it feels like a video made without any good faith. Like it was made because REVO was super bitter with Capcom for what they did with Mega Man in the 2010s. Like, because Mega Man is without a producer, or the fact that Capcom doesn’t focus many Mega Man games as much as they did in the 2000’s. The video felt like an oversimplification of the situation, instead of feeling sincere. As a Mega Man fan, I get his frustration, but Mega Man is still very niche & Monster Hunter & Resident Evil are more popular. I know the fans want more Mega Man, myself included, but as of right now, I am just glad the collections exist in the first place. The Collections showed to many people different parts of the Mega Man franchise & showed the potential the franchise could go. Tsuchiya is gone, but Capcom could find another producer in the future. At this point, with Mega Man being dormant, I think it’s a good thing that it’s reduced to just an event & not something milked like Disney Star Wars. Not focusing on new games gives me time to play some of the collections & experience what I’ve missed. Do I want a ZX3 or X9, or Legends 3? Yeah, but I also want to be realistically optimistic & give Capcom the utmost patience that they need. Plus, giving support gives more. They’re a corporation after all. I went on a tangent, but the point is, Reploid REVO is such a man child that I can’t with him. The accusations made me realize all of my suspicions were validated unfortunately. I don’t care about his fetishes, that said, his behavior is concerning & he should be more careful towards minors. The lewd messages were cringe, & his behavior with other people just sounds disturbing. I am curious if REVO is going to address the allegations, but I honestly have no hope for him. May he be forgotten from the internet, & I really hope he gets therapy. Dude’s a piece of work, & that’s all I’ll say.

About the game theory part, saying this as a fan of Matpat and a former fan of Revo I was completely baffled when Revo missed the entire point of the mm theory vids and how he sounded so mad about it, straight up attacking Matpat personally and possibly even directing his fans to harass him. I assumed he was some hot-headed young lad so I just dismissed it but DUDE WAS ACTUALLY PUSHING 40??💀 Matpat already said that at the end of the day it was all just a harmless theory, a game theory, plus he provided us with a lot of interesting perspectives to ponder over regarding a fictional world and he was being very respectful towards all parties involved. But Revo? He threw a tantrum for several hours, shitting on Matt's entire successful professional career while he has countless skeletons in his own closet. What a degenerate. Man, I found out about this when I was looking through Discord for an E Tank emote to show a friend. I was uncertain if he actually had one, but I just wanted to be sure. After finding a similar emote in Power Guy's server, I decided to take a look at all the servers I was in to see if something was wrong. Turns out... yeah, Reploid Revo's server was gone from my account, then I came onto KZread to see what was wrong and if other people were experiencing the same issue. It seems that no fandom or community is too small to escape such controversy. It's a shame, since he had such interesting lore videos. I wonder if affiliated content creators have denounced him by now for what he's done. It's been a couple months, and I have the whole internet at my fingertips, so it's only a matter of time and a keyboard away to find out.

I was never a viewer of Revo's. It's not because I had anything against the guy. It's just that his videos always occupied the "I'll get to it eventually" headspace. Eventually, I forgot about the guy. Then all of a sudden, all this shit about him comes to light and it's like "holy shit, I dodged a bullet here." Words cannot accurately describe how disgusted I was when all of this shit turned out to be true. His victims and former friends deserve all the sympathy in the world.

I heard about the situation from virtue3D on Twitter. It came as a shock from reading on what Revo did. From Grooming minors to doxxing other fans sent waves some serious red flags for me and to see him do this years ago while I was still subscribed to him left a disgusting taste in my mouth that will never go away when I look back on REVO. Since for the longest time he usually is the person I go for Megaman lore due to his well-informed and edited videos, which is supposed to help explain the lore of Megaman along with help to explain away inconsistencies, mistranslations or plot holes. I was left largely unaware of what he did, though I did see a Twitter account that was made to show REVO's wrong doing, but I thought that he would change for the better. Unfortunately, I understesmated the depths of his history of depravity. However the most horrid thing he done is what he did with Bonus Level, I have no idea that he not only abused her physically but also leaking her mental illness to the police along with lying to them and his fanbase on the situation to paint himself as the victim. This is utter insanity and malicious that he did this to a person who is a very talented artist that essentially got the channel to where it is now and all she got in return is a lifetime of mental trauma and self harm. Which has gotten to a point where she disassociate herself with Megaman entirely. Worse, I didn't even know about what happened to her as I wasn't in Revo's sever nor paid much attention to his social media history, only when it was brought to light by her new husband and other victims. I felt so ignorant about not seeing the signs sooner along with having a mixed feeling of disappointment, disgust and betrayal to hear all this done by Revo while the community let it happen and left unspoken largely due to his fambase silencing anyone who spoke out or too afraid to. Now that more people are speaking out, we can finally bring light to abuse and hopefully make the community a better place.

...I had so much respect for him. When he made the video just saying he was a person, I DM'ed him and said he had someone to talk to if he needed it. We talked once... ... And that was it. I should've caught on then. I was also surprised when he and his wife broke up... I thought it was just a bad marriage. Hearing all this... It's just... Disappointing. Deeply so. (As for the Revo server disappearing... It makes sense, now.) Thank you, Neo. Thank you for showing me this. It's time to move on. And if you read this, Revo... I'll pray for your repentance.

The REVO mess goes further than just the allegations. As a person, he's hardly deserving of being a "pillar of the community" in any sense, as his online persona and actual personality do not line up in the slightest. In videos, he is this calm, intelligent person. In reality, he's a hotheaded idiot who doesn't handle disagreements well, and that was apparent before his allegations. I'm left to wonder how much of the Mega Man community has been influenced towards toxic behavior as a result of him. If what he says in his "Open Letter to Capcom" video is true, then the Mega Man community may have much bigger problems with toxicity than they are willing to acknowledge. I hope that such isn't the case, that REVO is just an irrational outlier that nobody was really listening to...

I met him a long time ago on a game called second life, he ran a community there long before his revo days, to be honest I was shocked when I learned it was the same guy. Remembering how he used to act back then its not suprising he hasnt changed and got much worse. Hes always been the type to pick fights and do terrible things to me, hes done it to me as well, but to a lesser extent, I'm glad things are beign handled and I'm glad you spoke out neo. I hope the community will be able to move on from this, after this is all and settled, lets all strive to live a better life with better memories, aye? In fact it's kinda laughable now thinking that he might actually be one of those dudes who spam Roll pron in those threads and disrupts my attempts to have lore discussion lol.

A real people wouldn't care if other people aren't as much of a fan of a franchise than they are. They don't necessarily have share your vision to like it. Hell, you don't have to know a lot about the franchise to like it, either. Even if they aren't true fans, you shouldn't hold it against them. Then I learned about the Earl Dube/WhiteBowser stuff and realised this guy is basically Earl if he was successful enough to reach the top of the mountain as well as being slightly intelligent enough to not effortlessly condemn himself publicly with each bad answer to the allegations against him. I wouldn’t be surprised if Revo has told some people to delete themselves for disagreeing with him and would not be shocked if there’s more to his predatory antics than what we’re currently aware of.

The only real experience I had with him was I once responded to one of his lore videos with what I felt was a fairly innocuous question. I don't even remember the details, something about reploids breathing (like how X breathes heavily when in a damaged state in the SNES games). He came back with a comment that came off as very dismissive, biting, and condescending, and it immediately turned me off to him as just not actually being a very decent human. Guess my instincts were right about that one.

To answer. Chances are, Reploids likely don't need to breathe. But they designed to do so in order to better tie humanity and robots together. As the purpose of X, who all reploids are built off of, was to be a robot that was perfectly indistinguishable from a real human in almost every way shape and form. In order to allow Humanity and Robots to co-exist, as said in to be Dr. Lights dream. So Dr. Light might have included a few extra unnecessary components, such as a system for panting, to allow for X to better serve said purpose.

@@linhero797 I absolutely agree with you in that regard. I went back to see if I could find the comment string but it seems the video it was on is no longer available. Something in the video sparked me to make a comment about robots not needing to breathe, and I just remember he shot back with a comment that- to paraphrase- basically said 'Of course robots need to breathe, you moron. It's a necessary component of their coolant system' which was very condescending and was written in a way that left no room for debate despite the very obvious flaws in the argument such as: Reploids seemingly being liquid cooled, given how much they bleed. Reploids functioning perfectly fine underwater or in the vacuum of space where there is no air to breathe. How inefficient an air-cooled robot body would actually be if it were the primary means of coolant. There are more arguments but his response was so off-putting for its arrogance and condescending attitude that I had little desire to engage with him any further. At any rate, my comment history would seem to imply that he's either hidden the video, or taken it down. It's no longer available.

@@Pulmonox Yeah. An Air based coolant system would be unbelievably inefficent and would result in Reploids that have the same fundamental weaknesses, in relation to air, as humans. Which would not be something Dr. Light would want because it would damage the fundamental utility that Reploids provide. It makes far more sense that not EVERYTHING that Reploids do is necessary. But rather that, at least SOME of them, are cosmetic. Much in the same way that RMs like Rock, Roll, The Light Numbers, and so on. All have personalities, which they don't need to function. But Dr. Light has always been an overachiever and one to make robots as closely tied to humanity as possible.

While I was never a close ally or friend of REVO, nor did I follow him much, I did cross paths with him on one occasion where he was being a total prick, and it played a part of what has made me resentful of the Megaman community in recent years, which hurt me because this is a franchise I have loved all my life and I find out that there are people who act the way he does. The cult-esque status and instances of him attacking other random people publicly instead of minding his own business really rubbed me the wrong way too. And seeing all these things revealed about him as of late doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

God fucking damn it, i cant subscribe to nobody these days, ill start chargging for subscribing people and letting my curse do the work

Never really interacted with this guy all, but 1 time. The only time was when a post of his randomly popped up on my timeline of him saying Inafune is kind of a despicable human being at this point. All I did was agree with him and he went absolutely ape shit on me for like 3 hours. Didn't expect him to go on and have a Vaush moment later though. :/

If your relationship with someone is strictly parasocial you'll never REALLY know them. Its a lot more dangerous to think you know a person than it is to actually know them because more often than not all you're doing is opening yourself up to be hurt. Its much harder for someone you actually know to take advantage of you if you are looking out for that sort of thing.

I'm deeply sad, as someone who enjoyed the guy's KZread content, and I'm completely aware this (and other former fans') sadness will not change anything other people went through because of him. I do recall reading some Reddit comments about him, like, months ago, in which people warned that he's violent during his streams. Never thought it would be like this, though. This is unacceptable.

I remember meeting up with an old friend of mine on discord after a couple of years of not talking. They mentioned getting into some drama with someone big in the community, and given what I remembered seeing before, I immediately guessed Reploid REVO and was correct. Little did I know how bad he truly was…

This is my worst Broken Pedestal moment I’ve ever had so far, and it’s not even close. This hurts so much worse than all the others at once. It feels like legitimate betrayal from a guy I once respected.

Normally, I'm hesitant to jump to conclusions when it comes to allegations. The most recent one that I witnessed was that Mandela catalog guy, but thank god a good ending arrived to him. As a MegaMan fan, I liked Revo and his MegaMan videos, and I followed him since then. I'm even still in his Discord server. When I ran into news about that on Twitter, I was devastated, but wanted more clarification. And now, I know...and I feel so dirty after all this. Most of the things he did, I won't ever condone. So I think it's about time I finally bail out when I can. And unless Revo finally owns up to the responsibility of the crimes that he caused (which I highly doubt, because creeps like that will never have the balls to do any of that), then I'm just done. Cold turkey. This is almost as bad as the whole Star Giant Production/Rebecca Starlight fiasco I went through last month. Where I thought Rebecca was my friend, my friends' friend. But she played us all for suckers while hiding the fact that she's legit a monster, just like Revo is. Difference is she disappeared off the Internet now. Most likely just to hide after the exposure like a coward. It was all kinds of messed up. And now I run into this news. 'Never meet your heroes' and 'trust no one'. That's the lessons we should learn today. Because it comes to a point where even your own friends and those you look up to will most likely betray you in the end. Regardless of the identity they chose to go for.

Used to watch his shit and seeing all this IS pretty sad but tbh for me? REALLY fucking relieving, a real “I KNEW IT” moment. I may not have had much interaction with him personally but I couldn’t help but notice some subtleties that seemed…off: his power hungry demeanour in his @everyone discord messages, replacing his wife - again, HIS WIFE - with a younger, cuter goth gf in his model building livestreams so arguably quickly since the divorce (if you truly loved someone profoundly for so long, I’d figure it’d take you longer than A FEW MONTHS to move on, I just KNEW someone had to be unfaithful to someone back then), fuck it - his entire behaviour and upload frequency since the divorce, made it more obvious when he was “committed” to write out his wife’s OC from the Revo Cinematic Universe but couldn’t even keep up with what essentially was recycling old content, and ofc so much more. Tbh, I was hoping his behaviour was due to there not being much new shit in the Mega Man franchise, him being a lore channel and all. So yeahh, I’m glad my suspicions/instincts weren’t completely off. At the same time tho, this is the same mf who mentioned to - or at least agreed with - Lucas Gilbertson (VA for Zero) in his interview that part of the strength of the Mega Man community is that it’s surrounded by some of the nicest, good moraled ppl because guess what? SO IS MEGAMAN, ITS WHAT HE STOOD FOR! So to see this “wolf in sheep’s clothing” BS happening b4 us…fuck Goku/Naruto being disappointed, Megaman would be CRYING. It just makes me so fucking furious. We all essentially got Sigma’d lmao. Ohh well, it doesn’t have to be all doom and gloom tho. When one door closes (Reploid Revo), another one opens (Power Guy❤). And hell, why stop there?
