Tank looks great. Let me know if you have any solar flare you are going to let go.

I just fragged it up, but may take a while to get healthy. I will definitely let you know if it turns around.

My gsp has gone so crazy; it came out of the tank and started growing in my bald head

Wow all of your tanks are mature. Did you start with live or dry rock? Second question do you dose bacteria?

The sps tank I used dry rock and livesand. The 36 gallon bowfront I used about 30 lbs. of liverock and also some livesand. My frag tanks started with dry rock as well. I only dose bacteria when starting up a new tank with dry rock. I regularly test my tanks and do routine water changes. Thanks for checking it out! 😁

Have you considered an algae scrubber for the fowlr? They’re quite expensive but in my experience really do a good job

Yeah, I think that may be what will ultimately work. That tank has a huge sump with plenty of room for one. I’ll probably have to get the biggest one I can find, as nutrients are always off the scale. Thanks for the suggestion! 😁

@@Reefer_Matt I use the icecap brand; they’re not perfect but do a good job and cost the least of the pre built units. DIY builds are entirely possible but I personally prefer completed products.

I saw the one that has the pump included, I might try that. Then I would just have to remember to harvest the algae. But it seems much simpler to do that than scrubbing the whole tank down. They sure have come a long way on equipment advances!

@@Reefer_Matt yeah it takes like one minute with a razor blade once per week to do
