... and we need one tomorrow too! Throw in a Clem Kadiddlehopper, a Willie Lump-Lump, and a Cauliflower McPugg and I'd happily apply for the jobs myself, pay or no pay! Well I gotta go see a man about a stop sign! If you don't hear from me by tomorrow I'll see you yesterday and the day before that even. Even or odd, one or the other anyways!

So great to see this video of Red Skelton. Watched his show every Sunday night along with my Mom and Dad and siblings growing up. What a blessing to be able to watch this today so close to Christmas 2020. Love his message at the end of this show with the message about the Christ Child and the needy not the greedy. Merry Christmas to all and God Bless. Stay safe during this Pandemic.

His wife took her life also the same year his son passed of leukemia...she had cancer and left Red a note stating she did want him to grieve but only once in that year... so sad for a man who only wanted to make people laugh...he had a big heart to give of himself so selflessly...

Memorize, my how time flies. Watching this takes me back to my childhood, especially when it was Christmas time, and I was allowed to stay up and watch his show. Till now, I have never seen Red's family, both his wife, and two children. That and David Rose and his wife, so this was a first for me. What a delight to see them. Red had a wonderful family. I never got to see this show, as I was too young to watch it, as I was only 4 yrs. old at the time this program aired, so it is nice to be able to go back in time, and catch-up on what I missed out on watching. Videos of time past, sure brings back many memorizes of youth, and family gathering around the TV set at Christmas time. It's sad that shows like this are not produced any more. Shows on TV are not worth watching anymore these days, and not worth the price of cable connections, so thank goodness for the internet, and You Tube, to bring it all back to us older folk, as well as to the young. Shows like this are more family watching oriented. Nice clean, wholesome, programming for all the family to watch. Thanks to whomever posted this video on You Tube. You made time stop and go back in time to better home TV. viewing. 😆😆😆😆😆

It was so sad to see this Christmas show from 1951 with having his then wife and children appear with him on stage . His sons death broke Skelton's and his wife hearts . i guess little Valentina is still with us at this time . A rare appearance by maestro David Rose with his wife . No Martha Raye or Judy Garland in sight

I wager there wouldn't be any sidewalks left if Red Skelton and Dick Van Dyke were to try to walk arm in arm on them. They'd fall down so much that they'd break them into smithereens, then break up all the smithereens, too.
