I will only watch this for Jason Momoa *blush*

I think this series will surprise alot of people about Mr. Momoa's acting abilities. That he's not just another Hollywood PRETTY BOY!!! Can't wait to see this.

Do not listen to the naysayers, this show is outstanding. Momoa will surprise you, as will the rest of the cast. Say what you will about Sizemore's personal life, the guy can play the hell out of a role...

The show had an outstanding cast Momoa, Sizemore, Tunie, Bonet, Henderson, Studi, Gordon, McClarnon and Gomez. They all gave strong performances. I really don’t get why other shows on IFC were picked up over this gem

I'm pretty sure they just started filming season 2. It's kind of the television equivalent of an indie movie, so there's not a lot of press or promotion around it.

No it looks like they are just making it a miniseries, so only 6 episodes a season and they are currently filming season 2.

Rectify got four seasons and The Red Road was only given 2? People have no taste. Season one was really good and season two was good to. Imo Most people watch whatever the heard is watvhing.

The Ramapo "Indians" are not Native Americans but simply mixed race and have refused to submit to DNA testing to prove their heritage. Look up "Jackson Whites".

Because there aren't that many Native American actors that are decent at their craft that fit the bill for this role... You don't just cast the "right" race because it's the "politically correct" thing to do. That is a load of bullshit and frankly, I'm sick of people bringing it up.
