LMAO 🤣🤣🤣 I Love Mr. Hap Shaunesie (I probably spelled that wrong) His exaggerated tales remind me of my own uncle... 😁He was in the Army. (Vietnam) There is a story for EVERY occasion! Some were SCARY! Especially when I was a young kid ! (Because he KNOWS you are young enough to actually BELIVE it!) Great Memories... May he Rest in Peace. I miss him. HAP reminds me of him SO MUCH...

it wasn't "fun" but rather it was what you had to do because you couldn't afford to buy paper or it wasn't seen as worth the money to buy paper when you had useless paper ready to use...when the paper became dirt cheap and newspapers were seen as too ugly to use things changed, but plain paper was prevelent among us poor people

Yeah i remember that . it was a trend thing, not just out of need. rich kids use to do it to, to feel badass, "slumming it" is what they say over in the UK . thats what bohemians are , rich kids living in the worst part of major cities , pretending to be artists . when things got hard, just call rich mom and dad and you got a plane ticket home . hippies were different imho. they came from all classes and shared work and money like sort of a voluntary communism . from each according to their means , to each according to their needs .

you know red's paper shredding partly foil potato chip bag might be one of his rare practical inventions . but then how much of the bag is non flammable and how much is flammable ? i don't know and wouldn't want to try it near them electrical wires and hot bulbs on same xmas tree . I found some guys article on ways to use empty potato chip bags and nowhere is use as christmas tinsel . but some of these recycle uses are as bad or stranger than some of red's ideas and inventions. read list below Here are 10 ways to reuse potato chip bags. At picnics or parties, use for most any food that doesn't need a lid container. Use to carry your caught fish home. Use to bury your deceased pet parakeet, fish, gerbils or hamster. Just wrap them up in a bag and bury. Use in car trunk to store either clean or dirty rags. Use to wrap up breakables for transporting. Put babies dirty diapers, especially throwaways when you are going to use a public trash can. Use to store or carry baseballs. You can get about 12 hardballs in a large bag or 6 softballs. Use the bag to collect berries, pine cones, or any other little treasures you find on your nature walks. Use as a trash bag for your vehicle. A large empty potato chip bag will make 2 one time picnic table place mats. So don't trash your chip bag. Reuse It. By Michael Ruger www.thriftyfun.com/Uses-for-Potato-Chip-Bags.html
