Anybody that's ever worked in production can understand the uniqueness of this show. How they pulled off 305 episodes is completely beyond me. Cops and The Simpsons are one thing (actually, two things), but this is on a whole 'nother level. This is an entire day at the amusement park crammed into 23 minutes. The brainstorming that must have gone into it, the unseen effects, the stunt and camera work, the constantly tangible, good-natured humor that just exudes from everyone on set. And the eternally nagging question: Where did they get all those K-cars?..
We will all miss you and your show and most of all your words of wisdom.
Mike Hammer is just about my favorite....and Hap...and Edgar Montrose..and.....There is a special place in my heart for Harold...and I think I have shared EVERY adventure with Bill with my friends. Thank you soooooo much.
I loved this show I grew up watching this memories

The show really hit it's stride through these seasons in my opinion.

Definitely, the characters were fully developed and they relied less on the boring one-trick characters...no offense to Hap, but even they ran out of good stories to tell
My best friend in 1989 at his daughter’s wedding advised his son - in -law to always get the last word “yes dear” And that is how my wife’s admonitions are put to rest by the same statement. 49:+ years later it still works.

95% of the comedy yes.
“Yes dear” is the perfect last word! I use it all the time.
So much has changed in 150 episodes, it's nice to not see Red ripping into Harold at the beginning of each episode, but I do miss those goofy intros where Harold manipulated the shows stream with his control board.
A fan from the start, I lost my DVD collection in 2007 to a basement flood, so seeing the full series on You Tube was awesome. Thanks Steve! Anyway, I'm halfway through a binge, yay! :-)

I always get the last word. She says ''shut up'' and I say, yes dear..
Legend has it, the dance for the macarana was from a newfie looking for his cigarettes.

some people just sit in their garage and drink vodka. Their wife, well, upstairs or downstairs watching her shows or cooking amazing meals and whatnot... what was I saying? oh tonight I'm making slim jim burgers. I ground the slim jims up yesterday in a little blender. ok so then I'm going to mix it in with the beef. Tip, when you make hamburgers mix an egg in there, the beef sticks together then. so then this um like oh flaming hot cheetos. crush them up, mix with the slim jims and beef. then after you grill them and cook up the onions real nice because that makes them sweet, you get the Sriracha out. I don't need to explain that of course. now you eat the hamburgers I'm hungry it's like 7am

ok so it's breakfast, hollandaise sauce is your best friend. lots of eggs, butter, bacon.. um I like when she cuts a hole in the toast with a glass and cooks an egg in there, what's that called..? today though I'm doing the cooking and I already had to harvest the garden early. Kale, you know? It's almost as tasty as spinach you don't eat it raw though. that's no good. I need to shut uo and stop doing this um train of consciousness thing or yea..
I bet Harold told the kids all about Red and the things he does!

Sparky Hoover was played by Paul O’Sullivan; a great comedian who, sadly, died in a car accident in 2012. He was only in a few of the early episodes.
