The Recovery: Barney's Story (Episode 5)

Over the course of this series we explore many different facets of recovery as I'm joined by some very special guests. On this episode we tell Barney's story through his mother Deb Casserly. Sometimes life doesn't go the way we planned and it was important to us to share this brutally honest message with the world. Please share if it had an impact on you. Thank you.

Thankyou both so very much for this. Enormously sad. But so very important to let people know how destructive and devastating this disease is...to the unrecovered addict but also to family and friends.

Thank you Deb for sharing your story, its incredibly tragic and heartbreaking. I feel almighty guilt listening to it, as the pain that I put my mother through over the years is horrendous. She means the world to me i would never mean to hurt her intentionally but through addiction I know I have. Tony thanks for these story's there very important and have got me back into recovery. God bless Barny and thank you both.x 🙏

There is adverts on this every 7 minutes. It is such an important heartbreaking story but the adverts make it so hard to watch as it is in the middle of her answers and stories.
