The Rebbe's Lawyer in India

With the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s blessings, Rabbi Dror Shaul and his family set out on a dangerous journey to the small village of Dharamkot, India. His mission; to share the warmth of Judaism with the lost souls of the wandering Jewish backpackers. With time, his success in the mission grew. However, so did the challenges. They barely had any food or money and they lacked basic necessities like electricity and running water. Just when things seemed like they couldn’t get worse, his landlord decided to raise his rent more than double than the original agreement. “If you don’t want to pay, you can leave,” his landlord said. For Rabbi Shaul, leaving was not an option, and neither was paying the ridiculous unaffordable price. The only option left was to write a letter to the Rebbe and wait for the miracles to unfold…
