Listen zeekayart. This is very dangerous. I know this is hard, but listen very carefully. I know you must really like your friends, and I’m sure you are a very nice person, but the entirety of the planet (excluding furries) need you to distance yourself from these friends, build relationships with your others, and sell that fur suit to a furry who is already long gone at at inflated price. Many furries have animal fetishes and are zoophiles. We can’t lose another! I’m literally begging you please! PLEASE!

@@obee7423 furries get a bad reputation because of the media many of the furries I've met aren't into that sort of thing (however sadly I've met a very few) and me personally I don't particularly think it's as many as people say, we really don't deserve that kind of action and where people really treat us just for a fun activity to be something we're not

I’ve always thought it’s pretty cringe (and still do) but I’ve tried to never judge anyone for being a furry! Just because I think it’s weird doesn’t give me any right to look down on people who do it. They’re having fun and honestly there seem to be crazy talented people in their community

Bonjour. All the furries I know well are like me: we get used to it, so it doesn't actually bother us until you insult someone else. In my case, I actually find it interesting to hear a hater's point of view. I've only been able to convert a furry hater to a non furry hater once, and only had the words to end an argument 4 times, but it's better than never having done it. Glad to hear you 3 don't hate people like us. I need to stop typing paragraphs.

I use to be a anti furry too, I use to despise them, now I'm sketching ideas for a fur suit. Growing up isn't just about physical ageing, it's about emotional ageing too, I might not be the most emotionally mature person, but I think I'm growing, and im glad you've done that too.

Congrats on getting your fursuit. :) I had to wait a full 2 years for mine, but the reason is quite funny: The maker tried to start working on it _before_ they received my duct tape casting, and they didn't buy enough of the specific coloured fur. When they went to find more, it was completely out of stock from all of the outlets. When my fursuit was finally complete I discovered why the fur had been out of stock; it had gone into making someone else's fursuit. I met the other fursuiter at a meet and we both had a good laugh at what happened.

As a younger furry, I would love to have a fursuit, but my parents do not really support me as a furry. But they do support my art. I really cannot wait until I'm old enough and have the funds to get myself a fursuit. I would love to see Fatal (My fursona) in the real world. Fatal is very near and dear to my heart. I love how much overlap between furries and mermaids there are. Both communities love to be able to play a character and for that, we suffer through massive waiting lists to buy an expensive prosthetic from a small, niche artist. I imagine being a furry is also physically taxing, especially because you don't have water to hold up the weight of the suit.

@@LevitheEldritchAbomination Hi again!!! The mermaid community is a hobby (though professionals do exist!) where we swim in mermaid tails. The main materials are fabric, neoprene (scuba material), or silicone. We either make our own tails or get them commissioned. A couple big names are Merbella's and The Mertailor. Rogue Siren is owned and run by my friend who's made a few tails and other accessories. Some of the heavier silicone tails can be upwards of 60 pounds, but the silicone used (dragon skin) is neutrally buoyant (meaning it neither floats nor sinks) and some professionals hold weights between their legs to stay under. It has a lot of crossover with conservationists and free divers. When I was actively training breathholding, my record for static apnea (holding breath without moving or swimming) was a minute and ~27 seconds

I'm almost done with the head of my fennec fox, the ears take almost as much time as the head to sew because I made them massive and I'm surprised at how good they look. I'm not going to have student loan debt in the first place because my plan is to go to a cheap Christian college that'll fund half my tuition and get me prepared to be ordained as a minister, so I could really afford to make more suits it's just I have to keep a healthy schedule.

tbh, furries are so underrated and mistreated. the amount of time, work, and art put into these is just dumbfounding!! its literally so cool and admirable 😊

I’m not 100% a furry if at all, but I used to make digital fursonas and anthro animal characters growing up. Never really drew them, but I would use websites like Animal Jam and create them there. I forgot just how much I love making OCs and roleplaying as them (the innocent type of roleplay. Basically creating a story with at least one other person and it evolves as you go along type of roleplay). It made me curious as to what type of fursuit I would make, so I watched a few more of your videos and fell in absolute love with the moth fursuits! I would hug all of them if I could, haha! They look so fluffy!! (Also, if you haven’t played the game Purrgatory, I would suggest it. That’s also when I fell in love with some types of moths). But I knew that moths weren’t really my whole thing, y’know? So I took a bunch of “what animal are you?” tests online and I’m apparently an owl according to all of them except two (I was an otter and a horse? But owl was still 2nd place with the horse one!), so now I have an absolutely adorable idea to make a great horned owl and gypsy moth hybrid OC with lots of rich foresty colors and pastel/vibrant details! Can’t wait to draw it! It would also look cute as a fursuit, but I can’t afford that nor do I have any reason to wear one, so haha!

I've been bullied my whole life and I'm not even a furry (not implying furries should be) but you've gotta learn that if you let these people get to you you won't be able to do what you want. I learned that if you ignore it and do what you want. It's better. It still hurts but it shows you have power to overcome it.
