Are you all aware that KD had 1 year left on his contract and he refused to extend and left. Warriors tried to get him to extend but turned down all forms of negotiation till the issue with Green. So he was looking for an excuse till he got one in Green. He always said that Warriors was Curry’s team and not his. He is still looking for his own team till today. Lol

I don’t often agree with Colin cowherd or however it’s spelled, but years ago he said GSW could win a couple championships but they’d never be more than a flash in the pan that no one takes seriously and he was right. When the dynasties get mentioned it’s always Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Spurs…and “oh yeah GSW have won 4 I always forget about them.” I’m sure GSW fans will say may to this but it’s pretty accurate, every other fanbase has to be reminded that the Warriors won some titles every season

However, many fans who watched the NBA agreed at that time that any team in the West would best any East team. 2. 2022 Title - The Warriors collectively weren't really impressive (and neither were most other teams). Steph was the only standout player doing anything on the court. 3. KD's joins the Warriors. That team-up is not remembered fondly anywhere outside Golden State, and for good reason... it ruined the NBA seasons during that tenure. Nobody would bet against THAT team going into those seasons. I certainly didn't watch many games during those seasons because it felt like only games that mattered at that point were in the playoffs. I knew nobody could really compete with GS in a 7-game series and it was a wrap until after KD left. That wasn't good for the league. ( it certainly ended my anticipation with the game )

Y'all don't seem to realize that Draymond was pushing the ball up the court and running a very typical warriors fast break - he drives in and kicks it out to Klay or Curry on the wings. KD was trailing with 3 to 4 seconds left and the only shot he could have would be a contested 30 footer.
