Oh my god. I haven't seen anything about them in what seems like forever. This really reminded me of why I loved them so much. Your editing made me feel that all over again. The scenes you chose for every part of the song were perfect, and your transition style only made that more impactful. I have to rewatch the show now, lol.

Season 7= worthless fan fiction, all of it. The original of this song=hatred. This video= Minus the season 7 scenes I reject as canon...Epic! You found a version of a song that I can't stand that actually got me to stare in awe at what was going across the screen. The way you edited was so beautiful and that coloring just encouraged the descent into it all. The scene choices and the quotes you used left me wanting to cry because of the moments chosen to go over them which I thought was amazing. I noticed most of it was from his point of view but that's okay because it makes more sense with him since he was in many ways lost and he came back to himself not for some stupid delena esque bs being a "better man" but because she inspired him to live for more than himself. This video got me to feel emotions that I haven't felt in a long time for a more personal reason so this video really helped make my day for an entirely unrelated reason. That's how powerful it is, thank you for making it.

I do agree with you about season 7 but as an editor i feel like I've missed something if i dont put the scenes in the edit you know. I had killians pov in mind the whole time it suits him because as you said she inspires him. I'm glad you enjoyed this even if the original song isnt to your liking and has s7 scenes.
