🔥Response to Noman Ali Khan on Music: In a video, Noman Ali Khan discusses the topic of music and its permissibility in Islam. He mentions that (summary), "I'm not an expert on Hadith, but I have sought the opinions of scholars regarding the prohibition of music. In my research, I found no direct mention of music in the Quran, except for a possible interpretation from Ibn Abbas regarding vain speech, which I consider weak. I also consider a Hadith weak that talks about the prohibition of music. I base my opinions on the opinions of some scholars I have privately discussed with." Noman Ali Khan should have mentioned the scholars who consider the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Ibn Abbas weak. Is it the opinion of the majority of scholars? What about the Hadiths of other companions and followers of the companions regarding that verse, like Mujahid, Ibn Mas'ud, Abu'l-Sahba Al-Hasan al-Basri, Al-Sa'di, etc.? Why didn't he mention those? Or does he consider all of them weak? And if he does, on what basis? Is it due to the consensus of a minority of scholars? What about other Hadiths regarding music and singing? It is important for people to remember that it is a big sin to speak about every piece of information one hears without checking its authenticity. In his exploration of different opinions, Noman Ali Khan highlights that (summary) "I also explore the different opinions regarding the permissibility of music in Islam. I find a lack of clear and explicit evidence declaring music as haram." Let's be honest here. This question should not even arise whether music and singing are halal or not. Isn't it similar to the question of whether a man and woman can be friends, while your Lord has explicitly commanded you to lower your gaze, not talk to men in a soft tone, not touch the opposite gender, and not even go near anything related to indecency (fahashi), such as fulfilling your desires in forbidden ways, whether you call it lust or love? Similarly, how can this question even arise when idle or amusement speech is prohibited and leads to painful punishment, and when Allah talks about the people of Hell and how Satan is luring us with his voice? Even things that have no benefits and distract people from the remembrance of Allah are forbidden and have extreme warnings for those who engage in them. Therefore, music and singing should be out of the picture. He said that "Music is present everywhere nowadays, even in cartoons you watched as children." It doesn't matter if the whole world is indulging in these things or not. Haram is Haram, and you have to save yourself from it. Remember, if you follow the majority, they will mislead you from the path of Allah. So let's feel remorse, repent, and abstain from sins. Let's not justify them, especially by using Islam and making them permissible for ourselves, which is nothing but a disease of the heart. Lastly, I want to say that Noman Ali Khan is doing great work in other areas of Islam, such as teaching Arabic and delving into a deeper understanding of the Quran. However, we should not follow anyone blindly and accept everything they say. 🔥YT Shorts: m.youtube.com/@IOnlyFearAllah007/shorts 🔥Latest Videos: kzread.info/head/PLOCLtGDR-bM_tZeSLRznauDUDuT5A4lxK 🔥Don't Leave Without Reading This: The mission of this channel is to give you a warning to stay connected to the content that motivates you towards the only Deen (a set of beliefs and actions) acceptable in the sight of Allah, which is Islam. Remember, you are what you consume, whether in the real or digital world. Your environment gradually changes you, similar to a virus, altering your emotions, thoughts, and psychology. This alteration leads to the normalization of certain feelings, beliefs, and actions. Always remember that the majority is leading you astray from the path of Allah, and the content they produce does the same (Quran 6:116). That's why I urge you to remain connected with Allah by consuming Islamic content EVERY DAY. Open the link below to access the channels I have gathered for you and subscribe to all of them with NOTIFICATIONS. I did that because I love you for the sake of Allah. So, I genuinely request you again to follow my advice and watch Islamic content DAILY for motivation. Otherwise, you may lose whatever motivation you have left in your heart and die in that state, May Allah forbid that. Muhammad ﷺ said: A man follows the religion (Deen) of his friend, so each one should consider whom he makes his friend. (Sunan Abi Dawud 4833) In the age of the internet, the individuals you watch the most online are your friends, and you are essentially following their religion.
