She already said it, some customers can be aggressive and her friends can be judgmental and weirdly shaming about her job. It’s just a job, many jobs provide no social utility either, but attitudes vastly differ. Look at how men who consume porn treat pornstars and onlyfans creators, the urge to demean sex workers for giving them what THEY want is so deeply irrational. The problem is not the work she does, it’s the way doing it instantly loses her basic human respect. People can be defensive about it till the cows come home, but there is no sin in earning money from rich people who are willing to pay for your time.
