I was team sour and I won close to 80% of my matches.

I’m not surprised Spicy won Tri-color. I went Team Sweet and hoped to get the badge, but it was all mirror matches lmfao

It completely makes sense that spicy won tricolor, it was impossible to get even a fraction of the points because of mirror matches for sweet. So I guess thats a way to stop the popular team from getting a full sweep again like in the Pokemon fest!

@@bryan8602 Popularity makes it where they get more mirror matches, which means no points, which means in tricolor the team that is popular has a next to 0% chance of winning tricolor.

5:18 The reason it was so fast was because every time someone dies while trying to get the ultra signal, it takes less frames for them after every try (20 frames is as low as it goes).

I didn't know Team Salty was an option for this Splatfest. 😛🙃

Aw man I love the balanced match making during splatfest. Every time I was on the Attacking Team for this tri-colored, I was locked in spawn with my team mate. And even if we broke out, we got sent back 10 seconds later. I was on Team Sweet, and yes we won. But after a few hours of Tri-colored, I abandoned it and went back to playing Open and Salmon Run.

Dude that 79% game was unbelievable and like Mell said: Absolutely disgusting.

i love when professional youtubers call the winning team "cheaters" and saying that their team won no matter what. shows a nice touch of class

This Splatfest was just Gear/Grub/Fun all over again. Team Sweet, just like Team Gear, was way too popular and getting tons of mirror matches. Team Spicy, just like Team Fun, was full of really good people but was brought down by the fact that popularity seems to be the only thing that matters right now. Team Sour, just like Team Grub, practically doesn't exist. We need more Splatfests like Grass/Fire/Water, that one actually had pretty balanced choices.

Spicy and Sour were more like Rock and Paper. The “cool” people and good players were on Rock and then Paper were just some people that chose it for some reason.

was trying to learn to play snipewriter during this splatfest and the random tricolor assignments, while better overall, made trying to play a charger in tricolor impossible. especially as team sour, since there were so few of us i was attacking almost every round and theres just nothing you can do as a snipewriter with one other teammate.

Even the smallest of victories are still meaningful victories

As a member of team Sour, I never had a problem getting a real match. 🥴

dude i don't know why but i fought with my own team "spicy vs spicy vs spicy" wht the heck

I chose sour because I like sour versions of candies best like sour skittles, smarties, and extremely sour warheads. And we lost...

I believe not just only that was the reason team spicy won. There were common cases where sweet kept going against each other. But team spicy is very unlikely to go against each other.

I chose sour since I figured that the more popular a team is, the likelier it is that I’d match up against opponents who aren’t as good. So I had a lot of fun with my friend kicking sweet butt on tri-color for team sour, ended up having about a 90% win rate. Should I feel bad about that…?

I was on team sweet and in my region we actually won the pro results at 34.11%. So at least we won something and wasn’t in dead last for everything. Edit: I was on team sour.

They did do 3 teams only once, Gear vs Grub was still fun.

There was no way in heck that just happened. Around 3:27, they almost cover the entire arena. And what’s weird is that I was there on Dude’s stream when this happened, the tricolor event, the salmon run, the splatfest results, everything.

I fought hard in open and tricolor. Tricolor is definitely my best mode, attack and defend both feel pretty easy now. Glad I got a lot of experience in defend because attack feels way easier lol.
