I hope that Trump goes to a well-run prison and is in a room of his own. For the first time in his life, he may live an orderly life, eat plain but healthy food, and be free of the sound of his own hollow voice echoing through cyber space. He could calm down. I think jailers should treat ALL prisoners courteously where possible and that could be the start of him moving towards sanity. He'd be away from the distortions of flattery and away from the memory of his father's bullying. He could come closer to mental health than ever in his life. He should stay in prison for ever because he has harmed American democracy more than any person ever has but prison may also be the closest he can come to sanity. It is the right place for him to be.

In the 2016 election Trump won based on the electoral college system (so he DID correctly become POTUS) however IF the US election was (it's not of course) based on popular vote T would have lost by about 3 million votes (~63 to ~66 million). It's perfectly acceptable (often reaching the level of VERY stupid.... but legal!) for supporters to 'deny' results that they don't like ... HOWEVER going beyond 'denying' to actually actively undertaking ILLEGAL actions is something else (and SHOULD result in Legal Sanctions!)
