they can't directly claim to any cast. it can be controversy before or after release as actor includes was muslim. and thugs were of hindu of course. it will be framed. freedom of imagination was taken.

When first I heard of Amitabh movies thug of Hindustan then I thought that it would be on that time real thug exist during British raaj . I think it happened during Lord biliom batics time . He eliminated all these things that time approximately 60000 thousand thugs were oprated in whole India. No doubt this movie flop because it's not real on real thugs of India instead it's copy pirate of carriobin

If the British were the thugs, then every other king to rule the Indian continent was also a thug. I am of the opinion that they were Rulers like other kings. It's just that their skin color was white. They did a lot good to India when compared with any other king in the past 2000 years, though still, they needed to be replaced with a better system called Democracy, which eventually happened after a WWII across the globe.
