Hey y’all! If you don’t already know, Kara and Nate are currently traveling around Cuba! They don’t have access to internet there, so they scheduled these videos to post ahead of time. She's an absolute natural with children and sick people. She has such a happy, kind, soothing presence. I recall from when they went to Kenya to work at the medical clinic. And when Nate busted his toe open in Santiago... she helped calm him down because he was getting a bit faint. She is a natural mother, teacher, and healer. Everyone around her is just better for her presence. ❤

See !!! That's how a school should be, Promoting their own cultures, let the children meet strangers in the class and get graded by our own peers, **THIS IS A PLUS**. also those kids know so much. At that age, my friends and I were eating crayons and we ranked the different color crayons based on their taste.

The ceremony with the monks took my breath away, INCREDIBLE

I visited Thailand for the first-time over the holiday. I fell in love! I was only able to do Phuket and Bangkok but plan on returning very soon to visit Chang Mai and other areas.

And this video is EXACTLY why you keep me coming back every day for more of your posts. Excellent! Love that you show us the real side of the places you visit rather than just the tourist stuff. Going to the school and showing those precious kids as such a great idea. You guys are just the best at what you do.

This is so beautiful. Those bright lanterns against the black night sky is just stunning. It's reminiscent of one of my favorite visual cinematic moments: In the move Skyfall, when Bond went to Macau. I was blown away by the beauty of the cinematography and set design. This reminds me so much of that, but with local flair. Absolutely breathtaking.
