What's really gangster is the guy that took responsibility for Clyde killing someone in prison since he already had a life sentence.

Bonnie was often (not rarely) involved in shootings. When she wasn't firing herself, she was usually (re)loading the bullets for everyone else.

Oh im surprised you didnt knew what the iconic duo storyback since they are pretty popular but hey I came from yuqi's song too. She wasnt the first with that title though, dean for example has a song titled as Bonnie & Clyde 5 years ago too :) You should check it out

From everything I've read, Bonnie Parker was in way over her head, but she made her choice to be with Barrow, and in the end paid with her life. The plain fact is they murdered at least 12 people. In 1934, did anyone think this was going to end peacefully?

I believe that Bonnie and Clyde had a little bit more self-respect than the fame hungry masses of today. I think they just wanted to get enough money to set them selves up somewhere with an easy life and a loving life. But they got caught up with the media and all its evil manifestations It's not like anybody stopped to ask them their version of the events that took place. All that was left of these star-crossed Lovers was one shot up car and Bonnie's poem.

I've studied B&C for over 25 years and, yes, they were both fame-whores. Bonnie wanted to be a famous actress, singer, and/or writer, and Clyde aspired to be like Jesse James and Billy the Kid and at one pointed was very interested in being a famous musician. He could play several instruments, including guitar and saxophone. On the run, they got a kick out of reading about their exploits.

I learnt a lot about this duo cos of Warren Beatty and faye dunaway in bonnie and Clyde.

John Dillinger, Pretty Boy Floyd thought of Bonnie and Clyde as small timers. Once wounded in a gun battle, Bonnie and Clyde went to one of Floyd's hideouts for medical supplies, this angered Floyd and he told his relatives to never help them again. John Dillinger and Pretty Boy Floyd did send flowers to their funerals.

There's no glamour in murder or theft. You reap what you sow.

They were killed in Gibsland Louisiana, they did supposedly stop and get 2 sandwiches and drove about 7 miles before they were ambushed. There is a good documentary by Keeping History on two wheels with the man who owns the building which is now a museum of Bonnie and Clyde

But this is exactly how it plays out in the Arthur Penn movie, no?

I know more about them than most anyone. It started back in 73 when there death car was at Brockton fair in mass.i was 14. I slipped thru ropes and put my fingers in the bullet holes on Bonnies side of car and quickly looked in.There blood was still in the seats.since then i found out everything to know about them including they actually filmed the whole death scene but since one cop jumped upand the first shot had killed Clyde right away they didn't have to kill Bonnie but she was screaming because Clydes brains were blown into her face they panicked and just unloaded. Boots hinton 1 time drunk said his Dad told him and let him look at the film of the kill. Truth.
