Why does revelation repeat, “he that overcomes he that overcomes he that overcomes” over and over again? Because we have to turn from sin. Sure he died for our sins but that doesn’t give us a license to sin.

Jeremiah 29:13 “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

Even though we are not perfect, we make mistakes but the bible says we must not hold on to our sin we should repent as quick as possible and we will be forgiven

@juneagresti7848 Jesus told her to stop that particular sin because if she was caught in it again they might just stone her to death next time. Repent means to change our mind and stopping sinning is a work under the law see Jonah10:10...no man is justified before God by keeping the law because if we fail at one point then we're condemned of breaking it all...and we're all corrupt & sin every day as per God's sentence on our flesh in Genesis 6. Salvation is the free gift of God and if we believe that Jesus died to pay for our sin and was raised for our justification then we have become God's children & have eternal life. Sounds like ur confusing salvation vs decipleship. Our performance has nothing to do with justification before God...its Christs imputed righteousness that qualifys us not our own. After we rest on this foundation then yes we should walk according to the spirit and not the flesh in the good works God's prepared in advance for us to do...if we continue in sin there will be negative temporal consequences in our lives plus it's a poor testimony to the world.

It is fully possible to be sinful infants in Christ like Corinth had at the time of Paul's first letter to them. They are Christians nonetheless. Read 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 for more clarification on the distinction between being eternally saved and leading a faithful life of repentance. Don't be fooled into accepting the same kind of moral judgment scale for behavior and eternal life by a believer's works that every false religion throughout history teaches. God doesn't need any more effort from anyone in order to give them eternal life than He does for giving them physical life. Experiencing the kingdom of God inheritance we have in Christ cannot be conflated with whether or not we are in His family.

The one and only reason anyone has left behind is that they are not born again in the spirit.😊

When we truly believed with all of our heart Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, His finished work on the cross (death, burial, resurrection) and His precious powerful blood for the forgiveness of our sins, our spirit dead body became alive😊 thank You Jesus, we still do sins because we are still in the flesh but our spirit is right already with God, and when the rapture comes we will be perfect like Jesus Christ. Because He will give us uncorruptable body, we are waiting Lord to take us to be with you forever ❤🎉❤

That's partly right. You can't continue to do the same sin over and over and over and repent and sin like every single day and expect that judgment won't come. There are people who will cast out demons in His Name and heal in Jesus Name but He will say depart from me I never knew you. If you keep close to the Word of God, read the Bible.

@@Constantinos-Cyrepentance is always a heart matter. God sees and knows the hearts. True repentance is true, a true turning away from sin in the heart. You may fail, but this does not mean that all is lost. It is not about how many times you fail, but how many times you turn to your God and confess your sins, repent and receive his forgiveness and grace. Peter sinned, but turned to God in repentance and was saved, whereas Judas gave in to despair and gave up, and perished. God can forgive you of all of your sins and redeem you through the sacrifice of Jesus and his resurrection. John 3:16 for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever shall believeth in him will not perish, but have everlasting life.

We all sin however we need to flee, repent (change you mind/ways) and sin no more. The problem I see is there is no change in the behavior of so many. Asking for forgiveness without changing the behavior is not true repentance.

The word Repentance is not even mentioned one time in the book of John. , The reason is believing is what will bring you to salvation. Repent means to change your mind about what you believe. Believe Jesus is all in all. He completely paid the price. We offer nothing. Our efforts are not part of salvation. Ephesians 2:8,9 Eph . Chapter 1 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Romans Chapter 10

Know this.... Confusion and deception is strong. the TRUTH?.. There is NO eternity in hell or hell fire for us mortal humans. The lake of fire has been prepared for Satan and his demons, who ARE eternal beings. We are not. For those who are not saved, it is the SECOND DEATH. (yes.. read REV... four times in Revelation) We were created of the dust of the earth, and lended God's breath of life, which goes back to God when we die. ONLY the saved. ONLY the saved are both resurrected and TRANSFORMED INCORRUPTIBLE, eternal, as the angels who do not die. Thus they can be with the Lord, forever. For those who are not saved, it is the SECOND DEATH. The wages of sin is DEATH, that we PERISH. The word 'hell' is translated from the word for grave, where the dead are interred and perish. John 3:16... for god so loved the world that he gave his son... that we might not PERISH, but have eternal life. There are SO many Scriptures that will show this simple truth. DO NOT BE CONFUSED. God is not the author of confusion. GOD LOVES YOU... God loves YOU.... It is not the will of God that any man should PERISH. Know this, and love Christ Jesus and follow Him.

Salvation depends on believing what Jesus has done for us...not our performance...u can have full assurance of salvation today if you stop trusting your own righteousness to save you and believe God's testimony concerning His son! Christians CANNOT go to hell. If a person has belived on Jesus and fully trusting in him (JESUS) and not anything else they will be with the lord Jesus at death or Rapture. If you are trusting in Jesus and your own works to be saved you will go to hell. iF YOUR WORKS COULD SAVE YOU WHY DID JESUS DIE?

As believers , we will always struggle with sin this side of Heaven, we reach out to God daily for forgiveness and trust in his finished redemptive work that we are eternally secure and the promise of his Word. NO ONE can snatch them out of My hand.My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. NO ONE can snatch them out of My Father’s hand." John 10:27-29 Yeah, if you just made a profession of faith with words and are still living with no conviction and you are in love with the world, then yes- you should test yourself to see if you are truly in the faith. But no one who has placed their trust in Jesus Christ and his finished redemptive work on the cross, receiving him into their hearts will be left behind regardless of their struggles with sin.

I had this problem after my wife hurt me and divorced me . I was alone , hurt, lonely 🙁 so i watched videos they drew me deeper into sin. I still attended church. I prayed 🙏 but i had problems. My problems was inside me. I struggled. Eventually i Prayed and repented and got serious with God then he delivered me from this sin of lust watching videos. I was trying to fill a empty space inside of me after my Divorce. Nothing would fill this emptyness, or satisfy my flrsh i was never pleased and always wanted more. Untill I put God into this empty place now i am free. But i dont want to return to a life of bondage. ... no man can serve 2 masters he will love one and hate the other. People say they love ❤️ God and want to Go to heaven when they Die 😮 but secretly they serve Satan in thier Hearts by doing things that displeases God this is called Sin and sin will become your master because you desire it and submitt to it and when the thought comes you do it. Satan pushes but God leads. Resist sin in all forms and Submitt to God and he shall Deliver you!😊

Yes, being Born Again is something very special, and I did not count on it happening to me. I am very, very grateful that it did. A shock diagnosis left me broken, and I realised I could not bear to die with the taint of sin - I truly felt the intolerable burden. So I begged for the mercy of cleansing - to Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And They heard me, and I felt the response very clearly, and it was beyond all science (I have a science PhD). And from that day to this, some things in me are changed irrevocably; some obsessions and addictions just lost altogether (for example foul language and others). Interesting, regret lost too, and nostalgia (which is a tender trap, but a trap nonetheless - and as it mixes deception (lies) with distraction / disruption (chaos) we have to know where it originates). Of course, I became very keen to read the New Testament; and realised from the Holy Spirit what my mission might be ... and I am performing it now, as I have done already thousands of times. I write to people on KZread and it comes easily, and is done with love and truth. I am not the source of that, but I am a conduit for it. And whenever I am in that situation I know there is nothing better in this world that I could be doing ... it's complete satisfaction and focus. Other times, I see signs and I am better able to discern the evil all around us (a la 1 John 5:19), but also some of the things the Holy Spirit has touched. Scratch beneath the surface of these and it is of course the complete opposite to with wordly things of the darkness. Where the Holy Spirit is there, any investigation of His divine things leads to an "explosion" of more divine things, with immense and satisfying and inspiring connectivity and synergy. I am not free of spiritual attack, but I can see it for what it is; and feel great regret if I am distracted. But the wondrous gifts and signs of the Holy Spirit offer a great deal of beautiful satisfaction, and His power is such that He really can change us - so that in many ways we do not even have to struggle... Most (though not quite all) sins have lost their attraction and allure.

Left Behind. That means you thought the father in heaven was just a God and you've rejected his council. He is able to snatch who he wishes regardless of their actions and make them what he wants them to be. Nothing less than our complete surrender to his love and mercy can deliver us.

I now stay away from sex sin but still temptation lurks and I've been able to maintain my desire for lusting after women by simply not looking at a lusty woman for more than a glance because if I stare I usually get distracted from my walk with the Lord Jesus Christ and sinful human nature takes it's toll. Especially if she's good eye candy and if she is I can resist and not sin immediately but it's so much easier when you have a lot of private time and easy access to pleasures of the flesh that God hates 😮 and that was the old me and I've been made new by the Lord's overwhelming constant presence in my life and have never been happier in my whole life knowing I gave in to Him ( my Savior, my Lord and my King Jesus ) 😊 and let Him win over pleasing myself in a sinful nature and that includes everything else this world has to offer. I've been very active in the the things of God and now know what living the life God intended for me is like to a higher level in my whole human existence 😊 but I'm still so far from Divine. I'm stronger than ever but still sin but just do it a lot less. My personal motto is the less I sin the more I win. 🎉 ❣️🙌

I am not afraid I will be left behind. ... I am in a relationship with God..

As targeted soul my whole life that yearns to please god but often falls short due to being human. What does loving God whole heartily look like. I’m stuck constantly attacked I have seen unbelievable spiritual evils branded a schizophrenic even though I know I’m being manipulated by man… How can one be perfect in his walk with Christ… I am struggling with this all… I sometimes wish to see the world burn but I know God is greater…. Tell me what loving God truly looks like…. I can’t do anything at all without being attacked extremely and I mean badly… I do and be so well but any hiccup god hands me over to the devil without question. Why ? Why ? The most blatant argument for the pre-tribulation rapture is found in the fact that the Holy Ghost is the restrained and, therefore, must be removed to allow the tribulation to begin. There other clues, for example, the Bride (aka the church) is not mentioned in Revelation after chapter 4 or 5.

The tribulation has to be pre-trib to be imminent. Daniel plainly states that when the anti-christ stops the daily sacrifice in the temple that 1,290 days later the Messiah will arrive. During the tribulation you will know the day that Jesus returns, but as when the rapture happens no one knows the day.

If you are a born again Christian you will not be left behind.

Nothing like coming to the end of yourself. Many times, you hear testimony after testimony true real life conversion starts when you hit rock bottom and lose it all. When God takes it all away, what he gives back is usually more done in the heart than material blessing. I speak from experience. Stuff means nothing anymore. His life in me means everything. Jesus already came back at the destruction of the Jerusalem in 70ad. Jerusalem was the whore, scarlet, filled with abominations. This post is correct... There is NO scripture that supports this wishful thinking. The Scriptures are very clear. Deception is strong. NOTE: the word 'rapture' usually refers to a pre-tribulation event. Otherwise it is being raised AT HIS COMING. Christ has promised to COME for us. We are promised to be raised AT THE LAST DAY, THE END, THE LAST TRUMP. There is no confusion here. God is not the author of confusion. I am not better than you or anyone better than someone. I am also a sinner like you but willing to choose to repent and believe Christ Yeshua for salvation. You can make that decision which Yahuwah ( God) give the choice to each man to make to repent and believe in Christ Yeshua for salvation instead of continue to sin for eternal death in hell. I used to know a young woman who claimed she was brought up in the church and was a Christian but couldn't break free from lust over the wrong men and many men and didn't want marriage or proper parents for the mixed family she had. I think it had something to do with her not wanting to be under authority. She was the boss of her life and preferred it that way. She knows she's in a bad place but "I want what I want" Most of the rest I met admitted after years of God struggling with them, they admitted they've been wrong and came back or reformed.

This is so true.. seeking pleasure and material goods..we are in the end times.

You have to love the Lord with all your heart. Go knows all, sees all and knows what is in your heart and he knows whats in your mind. You must have the Holy Spirit in your mind. Nothing gets past God. He only asks that you believe in him with your heart and mind. He should be your priority.
