The Real Reason We Don't Hear From Demi Moore Anymore

Ойын-сауық

In the 80s and 90s, Demi Moore was arguably Hollywood’s most sought-after leading lady. From St. Elmo’s Fire, Ghost, A Few Good Men, and Indecent Proposal, Moore was garnering hit after hit.
She even gained fame with her marriage to action star Bruce Willis and later boy toy Ashton Kutcher. The tabloids and press couldn’t get enough of her, but now all of a sudden, Moore is nowhere to be seen.
What happened to the former leading lady? Her resume speaks for itself, yet in recent years she only takes on smaller projects. To find out why and if Moore is due for a comeback, watch the video!

Truthfully, none of them. When she was young she had a certain appeal, but her acting, to me, was all surface and no depth. The Juror was probably her best role, but other than that, it was attempts at being deep, but never succeeding. JMO...

Most of these narcissistic celebrities do not have as much money in the bank as they want folks to think, they might have property, houses, and cars but most still belong to the bank..This chick was a disappointment how she crumbled after that young husband left her for a much younger woman. She was so beautiful but that goes to show beauty will get a man but it won't keep him if she's ugly inside. Most happy married women are not celebrities beautiful but know how to keep a man and their men love them to death. You can get him with fake tits, ass and anorexic looking with bleach blond hair. But all that won't keep him if you are mean, spoiled and acting like a diva like Demi I am sure acted thinking that guy would not get tired of her because he married her. Please girl all young men like older women until they get older than they like them younger and younger. I can see her falling apart if she was 20 yrs old but at fifty crumbling for a man who left for another bitch? I would have slapped him while putting butane on his shit and sending him off not because of jealousy but because of his lack of respect and the humiliating and then take him to the fucken cleaners...Not to get on drugs and then calling the ambulance on yourself for pity..Shame on you Demi, you're an embarrassment to strong women.

May 4, 2018--- Poor Demi Moore... She was my hottie back in the 90's.. Don't hate her because she lost control of her life.. the fact is.. when I was young I had a crush with Demi Moore... she was hot to me back then... Not everybody has a perfect life... No matter what was going on with her life... She may have a rough hard life to deal with... It doesn't matter what her situation was.. you can't just quit your goals and not ending liking her anymore because whatever she did in her rough hard times.. she probably felt so sorry or felt bad or whatever that is... I'm not going to quit liking her because whatever what a mess that she has had gone through.. I still enjoyed her movies back then... for me I think it is stupid just to quit liking her.... No matter what Demi Moore still has it in her heart...She can still change that...it doesn't matter how old you are.. You can still have it in you.... P.S. To Demi Moore: If you ever do read my headline or story... just remember.... God still love you...You still have fans just like me... NEVER GIVE UP YOUR LIFE! You still have it in inside of you...BE STRONG... I love you Demi Moore... You are not a loser... you are a winner... Life is hard.. you can fight it off harder.. You will win...

I find it shameful that a talent such as hers is being relegated to a second fiddle and the thought of a 50ish Demi turns me on.

This is so unfortunate, that men can be LEADS no matter how old they are, yet women are put down for the roles they choose? That those roles have to be age appropriate? Why does that rule only apply to women and not men? Age is just a number. And people commenting on against her doing younger roles, remember, you too shall reach her age soon too. Let us not judge people like that.

Agreed, but it seems like she doesn't want to do that and wants to keep playing young roles when she should just accept the fact that mother roles and wife roles aren't bad. You can't be 50 years old playing a high schooler...what kind of crazy is that. She sounds like a baby crying because she got older. There was one bathroom and he was next in line. DM walks in front of him and he says, "Who the hell do you think you are?" She immediately spun around apologized for not seeing him and let him by. She doesn't seem like too much like a diva.

@Nim Boo Thank you for this insight and words of wisdom. It may very well give me the strength to move on. Just putting one foot in front of the other while all walls are closing in on me. Never thought that I would get to this point in life. I am here on my mothers farm. She was a beautiful soul, devout christian and commited suicide by a gunshot to the head. She gave her entire life serving god and taking care of her family. Although, I really felt strong enough to keep her farm going, it is starting to wear on me. I feel like the vultures that sucked the life out of her are doing the same thing to me. The world is so evil. Look what they did to Jesus...

I remember a long ago, uproariously funny interview with Rick James in the 1980's. He was saying before he hit it big, he was shopping at Goodwill. Then he said he was full of himself, with a pocketful of credit cards, and went on a shopping spree. He just about fell over when he saw on the bill, a pair of boots for $8000.00 dollars!! He said that should have been his wake up call.

A few years ago I did a stand in gig on Wild Oats. Demi was on set as she was shooting scenes with Howard Hesseman whom I was standing in for. She was surprisingly tiny. She was engaging and kind, very sweet and fun to be around. Perhaps she may have been a diva at one time, but my experience with her was one of my favorite celebrity interactions. Love her.

There are so many older men who take advantage of younger women. Why does Demi get criticism for her marriage to a younger man? He's the one who cheated and he's the one who should be criticized for using her to better his career, along with all the women that he cheated with.

The only way women last decades in movies is if they're character actresses, that's the way it's always been. Pure eye candy, no way. Once the looks fade, the roles diminish as younger, more attractive women come up. So many have tried plastic surgery (Meg Ryan, Rene Zellweger, etc) and it only accelerates their lack of desirability for big roles, making them look not only old, but weird. I ask myself, Why? Many of these people are multimillionaires, they can semi-retire, taking occasional roles without this obsession to turn back the clock.

I like her, I've always liked her, she is my contemporary but I think she got a little too big for her boots in the 90's and it turned people against her. Actors should retain a little humility and mystique to remain believable on screen. She was larger than life then and her tabloid image overshadowed everything else. My favourite films starring Demi - About Last Night with Rob Lowe and GI Jane. I'd love to see her back on the screen and wish her the best of luck.

Linda Harrison 🤔 I also think Demi is suffering a lot of *KARMA* for how she treated her mom back in the day. I don’t know all the details, but I know she’d distanced herself from her mom (who suffered from various personal issues when Demi was growing up) when she got famous. >>> Then when her career started to wane and Ashton started cheating, she tried to lean on her daughters for comfort, only to have them disregard and push her away, just like she’d done her own mother in the past. I think this added to her downward spiral. 🤷🏽‍♀️

  • @TheBloodil

    @TheBloodil

Codycole80 her mother lied to her about her father, demi find out alone that the guy wasn't his biological father when she was 12 or something, the guy committed suicide, she also paid her mother a rehab, but the mother run away, was caught driving drunk (she could have kill a whole family, with 2 kids or idk you see what I mean) and she was also a pyromaniac, so she could have kill and burned people. No wonder Demi wanted to take her distance. Understand that you are nobody to judge who is a victim of a Karma, you don't even know the real lessons of karma. Understand that it's not because you are family that someone is going to stay and support and suffer from all your toxic bullshits. Also, she went 6years with Ashton, He cheated on her. And not like a lil kiss. He could have break up and then go with another woman, but no. He humiliated demi and is now living the perfect life. I know there are a looooot more stuff. So don't bring your morals here
