I keep long hair as a guy for the same reasons as him. I get more compliments with it, and I feel much more confident than I ever did with short hair. Now that it's long, I actually like the way I look. I'm a metalhead, so it's part of my look. Girls thought I was pretty, and guys thought I looked like a rocker.

dave’s hair is my hair goals. It’s been short since i’ve been in school. like kindergarten and i’m now a senior and it’s never been past my shoulders. I love your hair & I'm glad you found your confidence. You seen like a genuinely good person. The type of person I like to hang around with. Don't go by others standards, be your own standard. Just be careful your hair doesn't get stuck in your guitar while playing. Also, you're not a wuss. There are a LOT of people out there with tender scalps, if I wear a ponytail (no matter how high or low)for too long, it will give me headaches. I know this is old, but if you go to a salon, tell them you have a tender scalp, most understand. If they don't, take the comb from them & comb your hair. When I get my hair colored & they send me out to the chair, I usually grab the comb or brush & start it my self. And when I tell them I have a really tender scalp, they will use a detangler or leave-in conditioner that makes brushing your hair easier. I admire & love your hair. Mine isn't quite as long as yours mine is too the top/mid way down my butt. Yours is below your butt ☺️ I hope you're doing well
