The problem is that victory cups aren’t competitive. You can qualify in 2 games, and getting a win is more rng than anything else. There needs to be 2 round cups with top 500 qual, and top 50 make money

@@fewteinit is, not set lobbies so I depend on who is in your lobby and you can have luck with pulling zones and loot and just one game would lead to earnings which is rung in the end

@@Cavamiva8and ultra poor people, like the homeless. i’m aware the difference between 70k and 0k is a lot less than difference between 70k and 1 mil, but there a lot more of the “ultra poor” than the “ultra rich”. whether this balances out or not, idk, but the effects are most certainly not negligible

@@lukewarmtoast If we're talking about the USA, the top 1% richest have about 40% of the wealth, which would explain why the average goes much higher than the median. Obviously alot of homeless and ultra poor people, but close to half of all money goes to the top 1%.

i feel that (as a mediocre player with no earnings) it is quite annoying that solo victory and Zb duos victory are 3pm-5pm in europe or 4-6pm depending where you live, ideally its not a great time, taking off basically half your day its not great and for me in the uk, 100 dollars after tax and stuff is prob only 40 pound which isnt good

About the 169 million from comp tournaments. In the last month of creative 2.0 alone 160 million has been paid out to map creators, most making trash copycat maps of others just to gain money.

Yea its honestly not worth playing a cup to qualify with 3 attempts to win a game 😂 for $100 a win after 6 hours of play time for round 1 and 2 you end up wasting your whole day off from school just to not get even close to winning

Its only 3-4 hours of playtime, and if you win you end up with 76 dollars after tax which is a good hourly rate. The cups are also on sundays…

The problem is Comp FN has ALWAYS been a negative ROI for FN the pro players don’t care about the game to help make it make money but they always cry that they don’t win enough, yet all they do is get paid when they win and not bring back money into the game

For the "not enough money" complaint it doesnt make sense for regions such as EU or NA, but for smaller regions like OCE, it makes more sense. You could win the 3 regular majors and only make $24,000. For these people to make a more sustainable income they have to place in the global Lans and only 5 people from OCE get to go

i have an idea for cash cups now to help make it easier for newer players and more competitive for pros. There can be a Cash Cup (Pro) and just a regular Cash Cup. However it’s still 100 for a win. The difference is that in the Cash Cup pro only people who have earned can do it and the regular cash cup only people who have never got earning can do it. might be dumb but whatever

hey reisshub! as a Valorant player, i know that its competitive scene is fucking horrible, and there are most certainly better examples. if youre wondering why, it’s because there are some teams in Tier 1 that are just horrible, and teams in Ascension that are incredible, but each new competitive season brings the winner of Ascension back to Ascension, but the ass teams in T1 stay in T1.

Awesome video Reiss. You are so right. Every kid that’s trying to go pro should watch this video. Fortnite definitely needs to make cash cups worth playing, they are just laughable and pathetic at this point. Players should get $100 dollars just for qualifying in my opinion.

I still feel like a big problem of open tournaments is people just w keying which is great if they're good definitely, but it makes the game extremely rng and unfun to just be randomly pushed by people. Things like being able to retake walls in the first try for example completely ruin that and make the game better for some than for others id say
