Hi there! Fellow flight attendant newbie here. I get flown to NC this Sunday for training classes now I had a question for you! Did you feel like the exams you had to pass were difficult? I’m worried bc they said if we don’t pass we get sent home and I definitely do not want that. 😭 What methods did you use to study/prep for said exams?

You have to do what's right for you so if NY is the better fit for you over Atlanta, go for it! (And I say this as an Atlanta resident). As some say, work smarter not harder. Your breakfast in SF looked amazingly yummy! 😋 I'm going to say that the plane was a Boeing 767. ✈ Have a great week! 🌞

Love the vid! I applied a few days ago and I'm waiting to hear back because I did my Virtual job Assessment. I live in FL but I know delta is headquartered in Atlanta. I don't really want to move, but I'd be willing to commute for the time being. Do you have to live at your base?

Are there any bases that are considered somewhat commutable out of ATL?

Are you still a New York based Flight Attendant? Do you all just fly out JFK or LaGaurdia as well? How’s the traffic when traveling to base to start your legs? Lastly, what areas do you find to be in coat reason to be based in NYC? Heard the living up there is interesting a bit.

It’s a 767 300. How the hell do you do a trans cons wide body with only 5 flight attendants the service must be so slow. That’s crazy. Have now flown delta in a while but always remember them to have good service.

Yeah, cause transcon is usually a stepped up service compared to other domestic services. I think AA has 7 on a comparable size aircraft.

Greetings from the UK. I’m a ex British Airways Cabin crew. I use to operate on the 767 we had 2 variants Which we had minimum Of 8 crew shorthaul routes 9 on the long haul aircraft. I was very surprised when flying skates said they have 5 crew 😮 Also we had crew seats at doors one left and right, same at doors 2, 3, & rear galley by doors 4.

It’s a 767 300. How the hell do you only have 5 FA on that transcon flight. How do you provide service it must be so slow. I have not flown delta in a while but I always remember they to have good service.

Emirates are veery strict but I kind of like it y’all are so uniformed and well put together e

Delta has the 767-300 going from JFK to SFO They also fly the 757-200 which is a narrow body aircraft (obviously not this flight). I remember ATL being a very senior base, but things change and people retire. It would probably suck being a new hire and ATL based since you would like always be junior. I had a friend who was over 20 years at Delta and he happened to be working an ATL-LAX trip I was on for work...and he told me he wasn't even senior enough to bid that trip (he called it the blue hair express...lol...and there was some truth there)

@@flyingwithskates that’s true I was literally thinking that.. it has similarities to the airbus.. and then I went back and looked at it again and second guessed .. and realized it couldn’t be airbus lol ( airbus are the only ones we fly at spirit so.. I haven’t gotten a good look at any Boeings lol)
