People should be a bit more forgiving, the producers make them get on like this and they don’t know how it’s going to be edited

Lol, she's been lying since day one. Her husband isn't a count because there is no royalty in France anymore (and there hasn't for almost 200 years), her husband's great great great great grandfather was a count, he isn't. But whatever, it gave her a storyline I guess.

To be fair, a townhouse in New York is more expensive than a lot of of estates around Europe. And most aristocrats in Europe don't own their family's estate anymore. They were lost during or soon after the industrial revolution when they failed to adapt to the new economy.
