I like the colors of the new figures being just slightly different, makes it harder for scammers to pass them off as the originals

The Dick Tracy reference makes me wish Playmates would re-release the 1990 figure line. So far I’ve been hunting at my local Target for a couple weeks, and they’ve been barren. Managed to find Egon during my vacation in Florida. Waiting patiently for either massive Target restocks or April to find them elsewhere. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I grabbed all of them this last weekend at Target. They are SO cool. I wanted these so bad as a kid, but never got them. Here's hoping we get Janine at some point.

I hope they re-release the Super Fright Features. I had the Winston one when i was a kid and sold it, along with all of my other Kenner Ghostbusters toys (including the Ecto-1 and Firehouse), my Ninja Turtles (including the Technodrome, Party Van, and Blimp), and 1989 Batman and Batman Returns toys (including the Batmobile and Batwing) at a yard sale when i was 13 because i was "too old for kid toys". Biggest regret from my childhood.

Yesterday I got Ray Stanz, he is so awesome, and he is definitely my favorite!

I lucked out my wife works at target in the US and got me all of them. I am keeping them on card as I have the originals open. Great throwback to some of my favorite memories as a kid.

I can't find them anywhere besides online for 4 times more than they are worth. Why aren't they in store online?

Hardest part of collecting figures is finding them. Used to be fun going on a hunt to Walmart or Toys r Us 🇨🇦 been to multiple of each and nothing. Found 3/4 on amazon at a resonable price though they seem to have been taped shut again on the bottom.

I only had Egon, and the Ecto 500. What a great Christmas

I've always wanted those Kenner Ghostbusters toys like that and I can see between the differences from the original one to the new ones cause I saw that the new Winston zeddmore didn't match his skin color on the neck but the original one did, and I noticed that, and yes I did notice some differences between those Kenner Ghostbusters toys 👻🚫😁

My favorite line after Mask, preorder too. And I will let them breathe 😂 to find to nostalgia to grab in my hand.. this rééditions are so great 😀 just before the movie..

I buy three of every Kenner classic. I open one and keep two for display purposes. I have a corner of my display room set up like an old school Toys R Us. So, I am trying to make it look like a aisle filled with new and old GB toys.

Had to get Spengler! As a kid, his color scheme always stood out.

I managed to gather a set after hitting 3 Targets. I’ll pick up another set later to open once they readily available online. Glad to have this fresh set of figures. The two vintage figures I have suffer from plastic breakdown, and Egon is a pain to find with tie intact.

I never liked this wave as much as the first wave but I got these first as a kid and didn't know the more traditional versions ever existed. Luckily I found them later as a kid. While history has repeated itself because I missed out on wave 1 of these rereleases as well. lol

Hi! As a kid i remember back then and keep staring at Ray Stanz at the back of the card showing that his ecto goggle is covering all his eyes. But the final toy is showing 1/3 of his eye. It would be cool if they just let him wear the ecto goggle fully and i think the fright feature of his eyes would be much better instead.

As I still have my childhood ones in my collection, the new ones I picked up I’m keeping on card! Looks amazing on card!

I still have my originals I got when I was a kid and yeah Egon's tie is broken. I bought 2 each of the new ones.

Originally , I purchased the first Re-release of the classic figures for my kids Easter Baskets a few years back. Looks like they will be getting a new batch!!

I'd love to see Hasbro include the mini traps for Wave 3 of the Kenner Classics, and I guess it'd be asking too much for a Proton Pack and the Firehouse HQ. some ecto-plasm would be pretty cool also

I guess it'll be Haunted Humans for Wave 4 which is cool but I hope we get the movie monsters, the slimed heroes and the ecto-glow heroes too at some point

7:37 Another difference for Ray - The original has a tuft of orange hair peeking over the top of the goggles. On the new release they haven’t painted it, so the hair is the same grey plastic as the goggles sweat😅

I got mine at different targets here in Michigan. I went ahead and canceled my entertainment earth pre-order because of the April release date and price.

Ok, so this is how Winstons head is supposed to move! 😅 As a kid i bought 2 different Winstons on various flea markets. But their heads only spin in one way. To this day, i thought that is the move the figure should do. Now i know the head is supposed to spin back when it gets lowered and not just slide down. 😅 Of course i also have an Egon with a broken tie. But is the problem with the head i have with my 2 Winstons also a common problem?

Definitely an improvement on Ray. Always hated when the logo would get that annoying black border. Better tilt on it as well. I plan on getting 2 sets when they finally hit Target's online store; although, I do still have my originals--tie intact and all.

I broke the tie on my FF Egon action figure back in the 1980's short after I got him. Took me about 20 to 30 years to find a loose one that had an intact necktie. Got two of the four reissues so far. Going to keep the first six action figures mint on card, since they are my favorites of Kenner's Real Ghostbuster line. Additionally, I purchased a second batch of the four Ghostbusters from the first series to have loose. Going to customize them soon to better match the cartoon.

I saw these at Target and it’s crazy how after looking at them, my brain said, these look very different from the originals. Like the plastic they used. Yet I haven’t seen these since the 90s.

Got my last 2 figures this weekend walked into my target and all they had was Peter and Ray left which was what I needed.

Why does Winston always have the most horrifying fright features?? This one has a disturbing extended pez dispenser jaw, and The super fright features version is even worse, with a massive head with a giant tongue popping out of his chest.

Why is egons logo on the wrong arm? This has always bothered me. Same with Ray but he has no logo on his arms

I have my full set of loose Classics and will definitely be getting a carded set too. Totally loving these - especially Ray. Question - I think there was an additional difference between the new and vintage Ray - Did the original vintage have a handle on his weapon that snapped into his hand (in addition to the forearm clip)? My Classics Ray did not have a handle on the weapon, just the forearm clip. I could have sworn the vintage one had a handle and forearm clip. Help! My OCD must have an answer! Thanks!

Haha, you're right! Somehow missed that when filming, but the OG did have a peg that would fit into his hand. This appears to be the only significant difference across all four weapons (outside of color).

Entertainment Earth listed them, seemingly by accident. They are still scheduled to be shipped in April, but because of their exclusive arrangement with Target in the United States, EE's listings have been temporarily removed.

Hair-down Venkman? Tim Allen, sure. But hair-up Venkman? Straight up Jerry Seinfeld in the face and head shape.

I'm on the fence about getting these guys. I still have the originals and their ghosts, but not their (weapons?) I'm sure I will buy them. Egon's tie broke off after all, and I thought Winston's head used to spin around, now he just yawns.

The paint is alot more sloppy with the new ones, same with Playmates ninja turtles, The wort being Bebop which is now unpainted from the waist down.

I never cared for these. I always was confused like, their Ghostbusters, why would they be afraid when they had their proton packs? And my Egon tie broke 5min after taking it out. 🙄 It would have been way cooler if they were movie themed instead of these freight feature toys.

They've ruined Winston with the miss match of colours on his face don't match his jaw think I won't bother with these I just keep the originals u would have to re paint his face or jaw to match
