    fun fact, I was thinking about this and then they brought it up on the broadcast around 24:40: SSX Tricky only supported up to 3 inversions and 1800 degree rotations; anything bigger than that would be displayed as "???". So yeah, that insane over-the-top arcadey snowboarding game wouldn't even be able to comprehend what was thrown down last night.

    quad means 4 full rotations, 1800 is 5 full rotations edit. sorry, I guess u meant that they're doing quadruple corks, meaning that they're doing 4 flips

    Snowboarding has progressed so much. I remember watching the earlier days of winter X and thinking "this is crazy, how will they ever top this". Everyone is SSX video game status these days. Absolutely nuts.

    Style free? Idk those were pretty stylish to me. I mean not like tweaked out or long grabs or whatever. But you do that many spins and land that clean, it's going to look sick.

    Corning's Tailgrabs looks soo good and I really like them because they look different then the rest, but he always releases then quite early and that's probably the reason why they aren't scored that good

    I would like a comp where 900 is max. It would make it more about style than who can spin the most... This is impressing dont get me wrong but in my books slow back 180 is one of the coolest tricks =)

    @@jeppej4265 Vans does the Hi-Standard event for this. Max spin is a 720, and no repeat tricks. But X Games is about progression tbf

    I think his 1800 was too hardcore spin to win (the grab and rotating). It was really sick but a bit like ballerina. Just my opinion.
