The real Conjuring Story from Andrea Perron

I had the amazing opportunity to chat with Andrea Perron. Her family was the inspiration for The Conjuring, the first movie. Hear her tell what actually happened. This is completely raw and unedited....you're hearing it exactly the way it was told to me.

    I never met & probably never will get the chance to meet Andrea, but I watch every video I see with her on KZread. I can honestly say I love this kind, humble, funny, and amazing women and her beautiful soul. Hearing her talk never gets old and soon I'll be purchasing her books. The wife & I saw the Hollywierd movie in the theater but I never watched it again after hearing Andrea's take on the real events that happened at the farmhouse. Thank you for another great interview & God Bless!

    I agree, after kind of binging on Andrea Perron video's I will identify as a fan as well. Her story doesnt change, in the sense of embellishment or grandiloquent speech. She tells the truth each time I listen. At this point I'm tuning in for anything she might have forgot to share. I will get her books when I can. I admire the line in the sand, where certain members of the Perron family keep a few paranormal happenings to themselves. When she talks about childhood sleep depravity I really identify. I was TERRIFIED for a period in my childhood home. It promotes a kind of hyper vigilance that cant be turned off. My experience was much more lonely.

    @@aaslacker I apologize if it seemed like I was doin a bit of boot lippin, lol. I came up in a bit of a rough home, Dad was an alcoholic Nam vet prone to explosive episodes, and mom and my siblings didnt want to hear me going on about the interactions I was having. I was the youngest of 3. My brother a few years back said to me " yeah man, you went through hell up in our bedroom. That " thing" really liked to mess with you." That meant the world to me, to have a little bit of validation many years later. I have seen programs here on youtube about a phenomenon called " The Hatman". When I heard about this I was like a deer in the headlights. Shocked that other people experienced it in such a similar manner. My upbringing was full of abuse and neglect and fear and shame. I think the demonic are drawn to this. I " felt" the presence of other spirits as a kid in different homes, my grandparents farm and such. I think those spirits used to tell me their stories telepathically. I remember being very sad after some " stories" that were told to me. But they weren't trying to hurt me, the guy in my brother and I's room was Cruel and he liked my terror. They are out there as well. Thanks for asking, Life is good, if I stick up for myself and dont let my sensitivity make me a mark for bullies. Alive and dead.

    My one question that has been upper most in my mind after watching "The Conjuring" last night for the second time. (As I came across Andrea Perron again through Gaia TV with a recent update video on there, is/was do you think, or have you (Andrea) checked to see if the house is on a "lay line" at all? And I am fascinated by the story - having had some much gentler experiences in old houses in the UK etc ie hints of spirits etc, but nothing compared to what was experienced by Andrea and her family, having read the first book and now on to the second Cheers from Wendy

    I'm kind of confused because in another interview, Carolynn Perron said it was Bathsheba attacking her. Up until that point Andrea has been giving Bathsheba the benefit of the doubt and felt she wasn't the malevolent spirit.

  • @lavenderbluemama953

    @lavenderbluemama953

    I just finished Andrea's 3 books. I haven't seen Carolyn's interview, but it's possible that she thought that at some point. She was physically harmed the most over the years. The spirit that first attacked & terrified Carolyn in bed fairly early on was the one with the broken neck, who they later thought was possibly Mrs. John Arnold, because she had hung herself in the barn. The girls also experienced this spirit & were frightened, because she looked scary, was powerful, & was harming their mother, but she approached them many nights, as if she loved them instead of hurting them. Over time, they got used to her. Apparently she wanted the girls, but she definitely hated Carolyn & wanted her to leave or die. The entity that attacked her during the seance was not the same as the one who had been hurting & terrifying her previously. Andrea thinks that entity was invited in by the medium that night. But Mrs. Warren concluded it was Bathsheba, because that's the name that came to her. It's possible that Carolyn thought the same at various times, IDK. Carolyn had researched Bathsheba, but I'm not sure when or if she started/stopped believing what Mrs. Warren said. She lost trust in the Warrens after the events of that night nearly killed her & they did not return her research notebook. Andrea said in another interview that the spirit activity in the house was calm for awhile after the seance, not because it was cleansed by the Warrens, but almost as if even their usual spirits (which would include Bathsheba) were afraid of what happened that night. Carolyn was harmed multiple times during the decade, not just the seance night. The movie makes it seem like everything that happened to Carolyn was Bathsheba's fault & compresses events of 10 years into a very short time frame. Andrea knows that is not true & tries to explain it. Basically the movie accuses Bathsheba for all eternity of things she may have not done, just as the townspeople did during her actual life, even though she was cleared of her charges at her inquisition. In another interview, Andrea said after the movie came out, someone vandalized the real gravestone of Bathsheba. Andrea was livid that someone would do such a thing, based on a highly fictionalized movie about real people. She said she made a video on her channel that called them out, saying something like, "Woe be to you for disturbing the resting place of Bathsheba. I don't know who you are, but she knows." She says often, that she can't defend or absolve Bathsheba of what she was accused of in her life, but she gives her the benefit of the doubt.

    And she just said she did not like Lorraine or the church being involved bc they're the ones that condemned her with no proof. At all. She's saying.."no one would listen to the truth.. no one would listen to the truth. They just called me a witch and said I did bad things. They killed me and my children. I loved my children. He was haunted bc of the wars. They knew that was an easy in. All that trauma just made him an easy target. I don't think he even knew what was going on. His mind wasn't there. No one was home but something else in him" they threw her in a well and left her. He tortured her. His family is connected to some witchcraft trials somewhere. They call her a witch when they were the ones doing witchcraft. Projecting.

    I am sorry about your sisters passing but I have been on a fentanyl patch for 9 years and it's the only, ONLY reason I am able to walk with my 9 year old daughter, if used as prescribed guess what it manages the pain or makes it to the point that life is bearable. I am sorry you had a tradegy but for that one tradegy there are a dozen people that aren't offing themselves because the pain is unbearable. Unfortunately all the bad that has been done with it will ultimately ruin it for those that actually need it to somewhat function as normal. Great interview but keep politics or grievances out of it.

    Which part are you wondering about? In the interviews I've seen & in her books, Andrea thinks the seance was "spiritual malpractice," because what happened almost killed her mother. And the fact that Lorraine would never return Carolyn's notebook with her drawings, research, & chronicling of events, felt like a betrayal. But she also thinks they cared about the family & were attempting to help them. Andrea & Lorraine have differing opinions on what came through that night. Lorraine thought it was Bathsheba. Andrea does not agree & in interviews & her books, she explains why. I don't think she thinks they were lying. They were sincere in their beliefs & have helped many people. But in the case of her family, she thinks the actions they took, inadvertently caused more harm. She spoke with Lorraine at the private screening of The Conjuring. She knows The Warrens cared about her family, they just approach things from a different belief system than Andrea has now. And I think she really wishes they still had her mother's notebook, but Mrs. Warren kept it because she thought it was not safe for the kids to be around. IMO, I don't think she negates their careers or their work, or their sincerity, but because their efforts didn't work out so well for their family, she can't help but have a different viewpoint than the movie, which made it seem like they came in & vanquished the evil away & everything was fine afterward. If anything is largely a lie, it is the movie version of events. She says it is loosely based on their family, but is largely fictionalized. As an outside viewer/reader, I have no way of verifying the truth of either viewpoint. I do enjoy learning about it from both perspectives though & wish The Perrons & The Warrens well in this life & beyond.

    I'm always weary listening to Andrea, because she truly seems pissed off at many things regarding her families story being told, but worse, she is quite negative to the Warren's and that alone is just too ignorant. The Warren's are the best of the best, and are two of the most gracious humans who helped many people, many families, FOR FREE. Andrea wants to blame them for her mother's decrease in health.. Sorry, Mother looked like she had some mental health issues on top of whatever else happened to her in that house. But, we tend to blame everyone else for issues before taking a look at our own self, our own family first. I will always support the Perron story, even support Andrea...she just has a bitter side that displays too much ignorance that is no one's fault but that house and her family. The whole family is one flew over the coo coos nest 🤷🏼‍♀️
