The (Re-) Making of Our Valentine Cache

Since uploading our video showing our Valentine cache, we have received many requests for a "how-to" video but we hadn't taken pictures or videos back when it was built and we certainly never planned to build another one.
Then someone came along and took apart our cache. They were obviously trying to figure out how it worked because they were careful not to damage the bottle, but when they couldn't figure out how to disassemble it, they apparently tried to force it and broke the PVC. So guess what, we got to build it all over again.
This time we took pictures.

Still love this cache, even after seeing it for the 3rd time. This is the first time i noticed just how massive the bottle is! It really sucks that someone decided to tamper with the cache... hopefully it will not happen again! Awesome step by step video!

Great job making this cache. I have seen spring loaded caches made with PVC, but nothing this big and with such a cool theme and container to hold it. Would love to find something like this... bet it has tons of favorite points. Well done!

What a nice thorough video on how to make that awesome cache. I didn't realize the bottle was so big when I watched it in GeoPat92's video it looked a lot smaller. Too bad that someone chose to vandalize it the first time. Super Awesome & UNIQUE cache.

Great video. It is great to see the pictures and explanations. I have one in the works but not as fancy as yours. I was interested in what type sprinkler has that spring. That is where my problem is. I bought quite a few but none work. Also mine is a single tube with washers and bolt. I like that so far these are not expensive. Thanks for the video and pics.

Oh I see, it was "vandalized" so you just "have" to drink another double magnum bottle of Champagne to build another cache. :) At least after drinking all that the cache is more fun to make.... :) As always, I very much enjoyed the video... Thank you for sharing-
