What do you think about the Razer Seiren V3 Chroma?

Do you think it sounds better than the steelseries alias? My razer seiren v3 chroma has like their weird echo at the end of my voice, very slight but friends on discord notice it. Thoughts?

Interesting question,@@eddi3x3. I think that SteelSeries handles noise a lot better which gives you a little more leeway when messing with your audio settings. I'd say that the best natural sound out of the box belongs to the Razer. It is also the most clear. The Alias has a better bass profile, if that's what you prefer, but is a little higher in the mids than I like. That being said, with a little processing, you can make both of these sound outstanding. Go check out my review of the Alias if you haven't seen it already for a side by side comparison. @albertjohn8723 no sidetone and it's my friends on discord who hear it, not me. Recently bought the steelseries alias and they said it sounds better. Going to do a side by side compares with them soon to see what's going on

it sounds amazing really impressed with the price too

I could look into doing something like that.

On the phrases it seems like it could use a pop filter. The Bombastics are a little overpowering.

Queation, I have a seiren v3 chroma and I like the lighting effects but don't want my mic live all the time but muting it is just red. Can I still leave it cycling through the light but not have my mic on so others hear me by accident? Mainly while gaming. Is it just something like in game settings not setting the mic to the sieren when I'm not using it? Edit: Just saw in the synapse that when selecting mute mic color you can just toggle it off and keep the same lighting profile, but you just wont see a change when switching between mute and unmute.👍

Wish they would focus on peripherals and not all the gaga cross branding because they always seem 1 step behind but then its worth it.

Yeah I get that. They have been in the game so long that the variety of their gear spreads them a little thin sometimes and, like you said, they get spread only thinner.

I have a shuresm7b do you think I should replace with this? I know it sounds dumb but the sound quality is good on this mic!

I would have a hard time telling someone to step away from such an expensive mic for this. The look of the RGB would have to be really important to you.. plus you'd also be giving up whatever audio interface you are using. That's a lot to walk away from.

I need help with adjusting the mic so my voice doesnt cut out on OBS and i want to get rid of the background noise because it sometimes picks up my keyboard when im using the keys. Any suggestions?!?!

If you have an RTX GPU you can use NVidia noise removal, but you can also just use a noise gate, which will cut anything out below a certain threshold. When you are talking, though, you'll hear any noises that were being cut out.

Out of curiosity to ask: can you record music and do podcast hosting on the Razer Seiren V3 Chroma and Seiren V3 Mini?

I'd say that music is better left to professional grade microphones if you are doing some serious recording. If you are just messing around on stream, this would be alright. In terms of podcast, I always recommend a dynamic, especially if you are with multiple people.

@@MiscastJoe it's only just myself and my partner who also building a podcast studio from home. What is a similar microphone like that with a USB microphone? I'm new to this podcast scene actually outside buying Razer Kiyo Pro Webcam and Razer Seiren V3 Mini USB microphone

@@MrMartellSincere check out my video on the fifine am8 and the feelworld pm1 and see if you like how those sound. They are both dynamic mics and are a fraction of the cost, plus they both support USB and XLR should you ever upgrade to an audio interface in the future.

I don't have the chroma version. But i am veey happy with the Razer Seiren V3 Mini USB microphone that's worth my investment for my new podcast studio 😁 🎤🎙️😊

It's just a little bit of EQ. Adjust the areas of the mic where you feel your voice needs enhancement. Want a little more bass? Raise the low frequencies about 3dB. Does the mic make your voice sound too muffled? lower the mid tones a bit. Add a little bit of presence to your voice by raising the higher frequencies a few dB. Make small adjustments til you find the sound that works best for you.

In terms of overall experience I give it to this one. Comparing a dynamic to a condenser is an apples vs. Oranges thing. I generally like the sound of a dynamic more, but the condenser is so bright sounding

Thinking about buying one of these as I would like to get into GTA RP and I would like to use my Razer Nommo Chromas for game audio. How good is this Microphone at background noise cancellation/suppression as I dont want other players to hear themselves through my speakers.

Most noise cancelation doesn't consider other voices as noise and thus won't try to cancel it. This is true of any mic or software, with a few exceptions like NVidia noise removal and Steelseries Sonar for Streamers (which you can use with any mic). Outside of that,you can keep your speakers lower and apply a noise gate, but that won't stop them from being heard when you are speaking. Best bet is to plug some headphones into the mic and prevent it entirely

Ich mag Razer nicht (Habe selber welche günstig gekauft), da die Leistung nicht der Qualität entspricht. Sie sind zu teuer, nur wegen dem Namen und der RGB-Spielerei. Ich empfehle das Beyerdynamic Fox (USB) Mikrofon ohne RGB. Strom ist teuer in Deutschland zwinker, zwinker text-green-game-over
