That's because every watch is made individually and has limited production. Not mass produced like my Omega for example. Reasonable? Well that's dependent on how wealthy you are in the first place. It's also dependent on how the watch is priced according to the complications developed specifically for this watch, precious materials used, hours of research, development, labour. And also you'd have to compare the watch against other brands with the same craftsmanship and complications.

@@dudeymcduderson "Reasonable" is pathetic to begin with. What does that even mean? It is usually the bums that use this specific word. Same with "affordable" like bro, I make a couple million $ a year, 200-300k for a watch is by all means affordable... It would make more sense if you were to compare it with similar products from other brands. It is all relative.

Awesome Jacob watches, I like the Casino watch, the titanium Astronomia, the Mystery watch and the Epic Baguette.

Thumbs up if you think Jacob still owes Micheal that Roulette watch for him calling the 8!

Wow! I like the Epic X Chronograph rainbow bezel. The rainbow is more subdued but the whole watch is beautiful. And it's only $56K!! I think I will wait until my Timex watch quits ticking. Perhaps I will quit ticking before it does 😄

People need to look into these watches & who actually makes them. Personally I think they are on the whole tasteless pieces of Horology.

Jacob has to start making those Watches with personalised pictures once again. I'm sure they would become popular. Imagine how many dudes would love to print a Meme coin on their watch!

In regards to the first watch that was shown. I’ve been working on watches for well over 25 years. I like to think I know a little something. But when seeing that one, I know I should just sit down because that one would be so far above my grade. LOL

Jacob & Co Watches movements are OEM - meaning they are made by another company and use buy low value brands. This is the reason the re-sale on these watches is so bad. Its like spending 100k on a car worth 10k.

I own an Epic X Heart of CR7 that I bought in Iran back in 2022 when it was released from an AD. It's still in perfect running condition, and I remember the excitement of purchasing it like it was yesterday. Now, I'm curious to see how much it's worth today, so I'm planning to do a little research. It's amazing to think how the value of these timeless pieces can appreciate over the years.

For those that dont know jewels in a watch, like when they say 91 jewles in the movement arent for cosmetic purposes. Using jewels actually increases the life of the works, as jewls are placed in pivot points on gears n pinions and work as the bearing. these points would wear down in time if made out if metal or other materials.
